    Yup, I was in bed @ 9.15. Remember, I'm up @ 5am. I saw some lightening over in your direction around 9pm.

    fuck me running its gonna be a shitshow out there. 5' in the last 24 hrs and the heave isn't running lifts till 10 . so much for rushing to get out the door. the lineup is gonna be insane at gunbarrel but maybe, just maybe, it'll be worth it lower mtn at heavenly is all thats gonna be skiable w/ this much snow as i seriously doubt mott is gonna open. WOOOOOT!!!!!

    Yeah, the lightning and thunder must have been right over me because they occurred almost concurrently. So crazy....

    It hit LH around this time too. Angry pounding on my bedroom window (which is tucked way back in an alcove, usually rain doesn't even hit it) for about 5 minutes

    I am hoping for a 2pm opening, which is about when I should be arriving at kirkwood.

    i can see the site. they're still reporting 6 closed on the conditions page, but those guys lapping it on the cam don't look like patrol
