I did notice that this Sunday, I hadn't skied there in 10 years! When I was a kid, and they had a subway POMA, it seemed a lot bigger, and the summit chair was too scary to ride.
Anyway, I did ski bell to bell as it was one of the best pow days of my season, (and I skied almost every day this season) as well as the last.

Better to savor that than sorry ass flame wars!

The massive low pressure that rolled through yesterday covered the entire West Coast and is moving east. More of a spring-like storm but no precip in the Yay Area.

As I laid to rest last night watching the weather channel...I noticed the radar over Tahoe get white. I guess I wasn't dreaming:

Still snowing in xmas valley even now past noon. Probably an inch here. nothing's gonna soften up there til tomorrow anyway.

i'm bringing this thread back in the hope that tahoe is going to fire sometime this century!!! as great as it is to get in another round of golf this week, i will gladly put away the clubs for some skiing. i'm sick of seeing all the stoke everyone is posting. it's about time for the tahoe mags to start posting some sweet pics. I know i should be patient and all, but i'm burning to make some turns even if it is just roundhouse groomers for a bit.

I feel your pain. I actually went up to Mt Rose last Fri, and found a snow patch. I got some skiing in with the idea that it may be the only skiing I will get for some time. It’s a bit sad it doesn't look like anything is coming for two or more weeks. But we have to get something sometime.

In 05-06 when I was new to the board I posted my fears about not getting any snow and we didn't until Dec.2nd and then it came! I remember the same thing was happening everyone was getting snow but us. So, I'm going to say it again I'm really worried we won't get any snow this year.

(I moved to Washington last year or a year and got lucky)
