Lee, I think a big chunk of the Dem falloff is likely Dem voters who are pissed at the party right now, but they'd still vote against Trump in an election.

Trumps favorability went negative in poll averages earlier this week. He's got the second worst approval of any president this early in a term, behind only his rating in his first term. Unlike his first term, he is destroying things people like, the people who don't follow politics just haven't felt it yet, so I expect his popularity to continue falling.

Non voters are a varied group of which I have essentially zero knowledge of, but guessing I'd say, homeless, mental illness, poverty, and the Republicans voter suppression tactics all play into it. I'm sure many or possibly the majority just don't care or understand how it affects their lives specifically. Idk, but it's an unfortunate reality.
