You do you. Nothing. No one has a problem with you doing nothing. You could try doing absolutely nothing by not posting in this thread or hey, keep on keepin on.
NYS is taking action. Texas is doing something. "Take care of the edges and the middle will fix itself."

Whatever dude. They raise the gang plank , or whatever. I don’t gamble.
Go smoke a joint, you need to stop being a Dick all the time, or I’ll go back to reminding everyone this is what happens when democrats have sole control of a city for 50 yrs.
In 5 days we find out if the State Police are going to move in and take over. We just ousted our Soros funded DA.
.Monday night’s Newsmax broadcast of Greg Kelly Reports repeatedly showed viewers a mugshot of a man purported to be the mass shooter who killed eight and wounded seven at an Allen, Texas, shopping mall over the weekend. But it wasn’t.
The actual gunman, Mauricio Garcia, 33, committed the shooting spree with an AR-15 semiautomatic rifle while donning tactical gear that featured an acronym commonly used by neo-Nazis. But his photograph was not the one that Newsmax’s 10 p.m. audience saw. Instead, they were shown an August 2022 mugshot of a then-35-year-old with the same name who was arrested in Dallas County, Texas.
The Daily Beast has contacted Newsmax regarding a request for comment about the error.
During the segment, as the wrong photograph appeared on screen, Kelly sought to minimize the racist elements of the shooter’s motivations. “Look: this is not a white supremacist,” he declared after pointing to the erroneous photograph. He then felt it necessary to make it clear that “we abhor” white supremacy.
“But you know what the left does, right?” he continued. “They think anything MAGA must be white supremacist. That is appalling. This is just pathetic.”
I have been in this State for 30 years and I am willing to admit that I am part of the problem.

Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!
Sure people are dumb. But maybe talk about the stupid media personalities and stupid politicians driving the discourse instead of the stupid tik tok stars that have zero relevance to the broader discussion.
I greatly enjoy getting up at 4 am. My brand new 2022 100k van is le tits.
Having 0 debt, near 0 overhead and 1000 times the amount of free time as the normal rat race chucklehead suits me just fine.
Ha. Guy who tells us he works 40hrs a week @ 5AM bragging about 1000X free time. Hope that job isn't in maths. Sit back and assess how that might sound to someone who retired early/FIRE or doesn't work/doesn't have to work. And lives in a house.
But hey, you do you...as they say. Just recognize that your vehicle living fringe lifestyle is subject to the same judgment as the people targeted in that video. Personally, I'd call it weak dick move to punch down... reeks of insecurity but I guess it gets the clicks..
I'm just pointing out the number of truly moronic ppl.
I work about 35 hrs a week. Having no kids and being single gives me that free time. I generally take 3-5 months a year off to ski and travel.
My house back east sits empty. Near my mom's place, I'll be looking after her in the next few years.
Let's get back to the original topic, how taking away guns from all responsible citizens and leaving all the criminals w them is a great move for society overall.
Thankfully I live in Montana. Noone is ever taking out weapons.
What are you so scared of? It's a horrible existence to be a gun kook, but apparently they don't know anything other than that, so just like flat earthers, conspiracy nitwits, and trumpers it is a gawd awful existence. Sad
You sound confused about the goals here. I wonder if there's middle ground where particularly capable firearms have a corresponding level of controls, diligence and responsibility expectations on owners & seller which are enforced lawfully and mechanisms to disarm 'at risk' people to prevent tragedies. Maybe some level of control and regulation would inhibit criminal access to weapons too. Nah - let's talk about locked doors at schools (wait - no one locked the door at the mall?)
Lemme guess tho - you can tell criminals just by looking at them?
FWIW, the vast majority of societies in the world do not have unfettered access to all manner of firearms. How do it work?
The dude literally called me out as a piece of shit. So I responded w my actual setup.
I'm not a gun kook. Pretty telling a responsible gun owner is labeled as such. It's all about stoking division, sparking outrage, framing everything as a polarizing far reaching extreme. You're literally grouping me in w flat earthers.
It's part and parcel for the continued polarization of the nation. Nice work.
You're being obtuse, right?!
No one is this fucking stoopid
Your guys are doing this type of thing right now, there's lots of $$$ in them guns...this is the main reason you're brainwashed by your cult to keep screaming, "DON'T TAKE MUH GUNZ". It's all about the money
https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/sto...u-s-to-mexico/
Every year, half a million weapons enter Mexico illegally from the U.S., and many of them are military-style weapons that end up in the hands of drug cartels and other violent criminals, said Alejandro Celorio Alcántara, legal adviser of the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

I agree that firearms should be taken more seriously. I've passed at least 6 federal background checks. Stopping private sales and gun show loopholes makes sense.
I've sold a couple guns privately, both to sober responsible great people. Close friends. I wouldn't sell anything to a stranger. Even though it's not illegal.
I certainly think we will see stronger gun laws coming in the future in blue states. Maybe a touch stronger in red states.
The larger issue is the crumbling and fracturing of society at large. Noone has any money. The middle class does not exist.
Yeah the piles of cash I'm sitting on do make the pallet a little unstable at times I'll give you that.
