Like you're going to power oversteer a miata... Can you even feel torque steer at 110 #/ft? That del sol will come around with a little lift off flick, no problem.

That being said, I don't disagree... But to settle the issue, the miata should have an optional something that gets it up to 240hp and tightens the chassis. Then at least rwd would matter... Never understood why Mazda has refused to make the version of the car that everyone wants.

Saw a new miata today. Fucking great looking car.

There are some real sweet Del Sol's out there for sure and some that kill in SOLO2. Dammit, you actually have me thinking about..but to find a unmolested Si (for reasonable $$) will be near impossible.

There is a reason Miatas have their own track class.

When they designed the Miata, they literally hung it from a chain vertically (nose pointed at the floor, like a plumb bob) to make sure the weight distribution was even, and made adjustments until it was perfect.

I can't find the video link right now, but there is a group of Miatas that do choreographed drifting, like fucking water ballet. It's amazing.

Can I interest you in a 1979 Lincoln Versailles? Available for you in Reno, with all the green-upholstered refinery you could ever wish for:

Or if you'd rather have something more authentically French than the ersatz Lincoln, how about a 1987 Citroen 2CV?

Probably a manual-diesel swap and a box with some stickers.

Thanks, I found a motivated seller. Car is not perfect, but I was not looking for perfect. 91K on her and picked it up for cheap. New Sumatomo tires, car cover, nice seat covers...although I hate the look, they are much more comfortable than the leather.

5 minutes with a good sharp sawzall is all it takes. Might even be less with thin Hyundai steel.

Y'all are making me want to get my RX-7 back on the road. Only 234k miles on it...
Such a fun snowmobile. It liked the mountains more than my Subi does.
