Gonna see if I can get those guys to give me a few tips on the hoppy beers I've been brewing. Then it looks like I'm going to be able to hit Trillium and jam as many cans into my luggage before I fly back out of Boston the next Thursday.

    Fired up!!
I would add Prohibition Pig in Waterbury. If you're heading to Stowe, hit the pig. The Bantam IPA is one of the best I've ever had. Ever. Grab a Crowler or three. And the Blackback Pub across the street has awesome food and an incredible tap list. And the owner is super cool. Not sure if fiddlehead would be worth the extra drive really... Hit the alchemist early afternoon. I learned the hard way.
    Sounds like a fun trip!

Cool thanks. Have a really good friend that owns Cork in Waterbury so should probably swing through to say hello. Forgot Pro Pig was brewing their own beer.

Really looking forward to HF. Shared a bottle of Vera Mae earlier this week and this confirmed that I really need to go there. Need to broaden my Saison/Farmhouse horizons as I'd like to start brewing them. Thinking a Grisette might have to be one of my next brews.

Vera is great and yet to dip into 2016 but looking forward to it. Have had all prior iterations. A bit of a HF freak. Have a house about 25 minutes from the brewery so there often dating back to winter 2012. Saisons from Hill Rd are consistently another level. I still think their hop stuff is a step above but lots of great hop houses these days, as you know. Shaun Hill works magic in the barrel room though. He is on a short list of those who blow minds w oak.

Live in CO so pretty spoiled. But just spent a week in New England and Christ there are some great east coast beers now!

Highlights being Focal Banger and Resin.

I am partial to New England but total homer. There is great beer everywhere these days which is awesome. We are living in wonderful times for beer.

I have been into beer since mid-90s and last ~5 years have catapulted the craft industry forward. Just keeps getting better [emoji482]

Trillium mosaic dry hopped fort point pale in hand currently as prime example of advancement. Boston needed Trillium cans!

Had a killer day driving the back roads of VT. Left early, hit Hunger Mountain for some SOS and random others, got to HF round 11:30 and I was the only one there. They opened early and I had the place to myself. Bought too much, headed to Lost Nation to check out their spot. Tried a few and left with some Wind, Gose, and Mosaic. (Damn wind is really good!). Talked to one of the Brewers at the bar and was able to grill him with some brewing questions which was pretty cool. Then headed straight to Alchemist where there were three cars in the lot and grabbed my max allotment. Such a great time to do the tour, no one around. There were only 30 or so people in line at Treehouse on Wednesday too.

I had never been to Greensboro or that part of the Kingdom. Damn I forget how beautiful VT can be on a nice day when the sun shines and there are no bugs!

That's a nice 2 day tour right there! Funny, a buddy and I were talking about a HF trip this week but neither of us could make it happen. Good to hear about the lack of a crazy line, good timing. If you are still around and headed towards BTV shoot me a pm. Lost Nation isn't my fav overall but Wind is a fantastic beer, just a bit $$$.

I was at TH Wednesday too. Love the no line at 2. The summer was nuts up there but during the winter I pull up and park by the door and am out in 2 minutes.

Pretty well set for the weekend with Haze, Green, Alter Ego, and Julius.

Looking forward to MNIAW dripping off some BBC Peach on Earth today on his way to see Little Feat in NY.

Beer fridge is a mess. Good problem to have.

TH has been great so far. I heard there's a good BBQ place nearby as well?

The Trillium you mentioned has been my favorite. This ones good too. I still have some heavy mettle DIPA which is too much for my tastes right now. Click image for larger version.

Peach on Earth is damn good but wait until you try Stainless Forest! Came out with a case +1 between those 2 and Wizard (1 Stainless for MNIAW hoping to get a bit of your TH in trade[emoji6]). Was talking to one of their employees who I know casually and they are selling out of almost everything faster than they can brew it and have tons of new releases in the works. Their colab with Foundation is also impressive.

25% of what I gave him was gone by the time he left my office. Loved the peach on earth. Not fruity but nice fruit notes.

Worked it out that you guys are coming to golf. Pick a day.

Somehow that's not surprising to hear. Really, as of earlier this week that was not in the cards...ideally, we can figure out a Wednesday.

Spent yesterday afternoon at Foley Brothers. Man these guys produce some really really good beer! Their two IPAs (Tipping Point and Prospect) were phenomenal! I also
had a Belgian Wit, Sour (Decided Funk) and a BBA Imperial Porter, with Maple that were so easy to drink yet packed with flavor. The BBA Porter was 11% and drank like 5. Zero alcohol present. Blend of maple and bourbon was perfect.

These guys are in the top 5 breweries in VT IMHO when it comes to just straight up quality of beer. Imagine If they canned, dated their offerings, and hell even had a fucking website...

Best part is their system is still really rustic to say the least. Nothing electric or automated,
all still done by hand over natural gas or propane burner... Pretty badass actually.

Pieces of 8 and Fair Maiden are some of my favorites by them. Phenomenal beers.

Cannot find these anywhere right now East side and walk into a Safeway and there stacked up all over. This beer is just crushable. Way better than the All Day from Founders.

Actually found a decent brew aside from the solid, but not wowza 420 EPA and IPA from Sweetwater. Fair hope brewery's (Take the) Causeway IPA.

This stuff is good. They are about an hour away from me near Pensacola. It says they make a black IPA, too. Gonna have to check them shits out.
