How is that one? I guess they use a different yeast for Bright than they use for their other hoppy beers.

Do not turn your nose up to fruit beer until you taste this. Thank you, MNIAW!

Ha, was just talking to him about this literally 5 minutes ago. He definitely has spread the wealth on that batch...hoping they have more left with the new release set for tomorrow, damn good stuff!

Surly Todd the Axe Man. Try it if you can get your hands on it.

Surly's great. Screw west coast and NE. Midwest IPAs are the new jam. Nice to have Two Hearted back in CO. So nice.

Todd and Abrasive are fucking awesome. That fact that Todd is available almost year round and readily available to everywhere they distribute is nuts. No waiting in lines at some farm stand on a dirt road to get world class beer!

The Iowa brewed Toppling Goliath beers are pretty unbelievable as well. Hopefully with their new brewery the quality remains and the production can be upped a bit.

Hey. I kinda suck at talking beer and explaining in detail. To me I liked it. Wasn't too piney, too hoppy? That's the one thing that turns me off 2X IPA. Not sure that helps much.

Reading the essays on the bottle last night inspired some reminiscing for my wife and i. We both turned 21 while living along the beaches in san diego in 1997. It was a great time and place to live at that age.

Fired up to come home from a long road trip to this... To me it seems like all the NE beers I bought while I was there get better over time. This was canned on 9/6. Better now than it was the same day.

So damn good! I can't wait for the first new batch of Swish in a few weeks, paging Strawjack to the red courtesy phone...dust off that beat up cooler just one more time!

I have some of those (9/6) and they're running again today. I'll do that side by side and confirm or deny.

Melvin Comrade, Station 26 are the local winners you can get in CO when it comes to Hops IMHO.

Backcountry Pizza as well as Hops and Pie (not technically Boulder) have the dope tap lists usually.

Buy some Casey if you like Farmhouse styles

You will want to make it out to Odd13. Right up your east cost alley. You coming to the hills at all?
