I might be up for that. I'll PM you later tonight to confirm either way (if you're interested in carpooling), but I'm leaning strongly towards yes.

Sounds good. I'll see how much I get done today and if the rest of the snow materializes...radar forecast (as acurate as that is) is showing the storm passing just east of Castle though

I used the shovel to dig for mex's ski for over an hour. I think we got so excited when we finally found his ski, that I missed putting the shovel back in the pack.

Skied groomers at Fernie yesterday as off piste was crappy. Right now (2:00 Tuesday) it's dumping in Sparwood so should be MUCH better at Fernie. 10:30 this am Castle reports 20 cm and expecting another 15 before it gets colder/clearer. 'BOUT TIME!!

I still can't believe he found it the way he did! Did he tell you about his pole basket at Revy? Same thing, thought he lost it somewhere in north bowl and just happened on it while skiing the lower mtn...lucky S.O.B.

Horse was gooood today. Skied some of CPR and got first tracks in Pouchers. Slapshot was open as well and got a nice line with some pillows at the end.
    Looking for the next turn..

Tried to call in today but just missed them. Will take the number to the hill with me tommorrow or might just pop in if going to KH and sort it out with payment.

Funny how most people going to the camp (including myself) are "Training" so too not be the weak link.
I think you 2(3) are the only ones. But yeah, nothing beats training for in resort beat downs like touring to mellow terrain on silky smooth snow and doing 2 laps

We're pretty flexible, so the 24/25 works for us. Just a little worried about that rain they are calling for late next week. I know that's a long ways away, but still scary to see 4 degrees and rain in January. Maybe it will be snow at the hill. Probably leaning more towards the 24/25 as of now. We are going to drive up Monday after work, stay Tuesday, drive home after skiing Wednesday.
Doesn't rain here... I won't jinx it by saying never but in all my seasons here I haven't seen it rain above the top of the beginner chair. Rain in town usually means game on at the hill. Good rule of thumb is 5-7 degrees colder at the hill base than valley bottom.

I would be up for a ski hill tour on tuesday the 24th for a few hours if you want some local knowledge.

Is that a call out??? So glad I went to Louise this week and hit some decent drops while you and your better half this week were skiing like a Juicy fruit commercial.

Up for hitting Rogers on Thursday/Friday?

Yup Whistler chutes in 65cm of storm snow is indeed juicy. First 2 days were wet though, which I suppose is also juicy in it's own way and it did indeed move me so there.

Mountain paparazzi were apparently out at the lake. T2C makes the final cut fourth row down. Westslope has to settle for the background. Orange FTW!

Or you could make the epic drive to Castle and join me and a non-mag for their goodness tomorrow?

We're leaving Calgary by 6:30 am from the deep South.

Dude that sucks. Do I owe you a shovel? I figure 1.25hr of shovelling/probing x current Alberta minimum wage of $9.40 = $11.75 + tips because of your "no man left behind" attitude = 1 new shovel

It's been quite a while since I blew a tire, but a white top sheet does not help things when it happens. Now I'm thinking about buying some of these. http://ecom1.sno-ski.com/product81.html

Pretty sure we saw you guys going down ER3 from the chair. A little too far away for a shout out. Yeah, Summit could be good tomorrow if it's not too fucking freezing. -25 in the morning at the Lake supposedly....

It warmed up pretty quick today with the sun out and wind didn't pick up until late in the day. Also, I know they said summit platter would be closed today on their website, but they had it open before 10...it was skiing really nice especially in Boomerang

Westslope, hit that fun run another 4 times while trying to leave today lol...was just as fun this time around.

    I spoke with KH today....
    PAYMENT TIME
Total cost divided by 12 people is $186 total WITH TAX INCLUDED...BC tax is retarded but has to be done. Cost before tax was $166 and change. Please refrain from pissing and whining about the tax.
Phone 250 439 5467 speak directly to Mel
Give her your credit card number and SCREEN NAME (Mntlion and Skibee please give both names if paying together)
Once she receives all 12 peoples credit card numbers she will charge it to everyones cards right away...makes sense for obvious reasons.
Call on or preferably before Friday between 9 and 3 to give them time to call back if need be etc. Couldn't hurt to post here once you do this to track any stragglers. No refunds to keep our costs in check as a bunch are at max as of now.

There are still 2 spots available, if these spots get filled then to keep it simple they can pay cash and distribute the difference evenly to all of us.
    FKNA!!!

2stix please pass the info on to Rob.

    Stoked!
