Today was fantastic, unfortunately I don't have any pictures. Did anyone else get the guy with the tele-snowlerblades on camera?

And yeah I'm really stoked about the move to London. Not sure how much more Bridger fix i'll be able to get though. too freakin' busy, crazy to think about dropping everything in MT and moving like that. And i have to travel for i think 3 weeks out of my last 8 weeks in MT. I won't get to ski much next year, but a few choice long weekends and maybe a full week in the alps should keep the needs in check.
It's possible I might end up in London next year as well. Race ya to the train to the Alps! I'll let you know.
Five minutes into the drive and you're already driving me crazy...

Nice to see what it's like up there, sounds like it was a damn good time to schralp saddle wall to wall, low danger, boot top creamy hero pow and all, must have been pretty sick. Look like people are just skiin right over to the y couloir from the ridgetop, huh. Pretty sweet to see so much terrain in play, must easily be the best year yet with the slushy lift.

    Nice mnflyfish,
we'll have to find a way to satiate the fly fishing jones too. I'm trying to decide if i should bring my gear or not. might just leave it in montana and get in a few days when i go visit.

but if we're taking the train, i bet we line up at the lifts well behind Roo.

Strange photos from a strange day.

A little two way action into a little 3 bears

This thing dropped Matt off then tried to abduct slushman's to take as their own

After all season in the park, Ben has perfected this cool new position while hucking. It is called the Olle' power diamond and will score you all the chicks and help you stomp landings when hucking into the pinky finger.

    Nice work matt

Just posted wicked photos from Canada right in here:

    Still delivering up there...

Quick question. Every time I ride up Slushman's, I wonder what's the name of the prominent north facing chute in the main cliff band below Saddle. Back in high school we called it Andy's Chute, but that's just because our buddy Andy was the first one of us to have skied it. You can't quite see it in Base's pics, but it is visible from the lift. Anyone know?

good times this weekend, just getting my shit together enough to post this up now...

We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

    ^uppr left to lowr right...

turk calls it "lundy's luge"........ Id prob go with that
also been called odt's slot after another guy who liked to ski it...Ive been callin it just "the slot"...heard others refer to it as diagonal but thats already used in the main slshmn ravine so confusing...I'll git some better pics soon- definitely a no-fall exit from mid-saddle areas...

I've always heard it referred to as "luge" in some way. Luge/the luge/luge track/etc... but not sure what patrol calls it.

yeah it's outside the boundary but patrol still has reference names for damn near everything; out north as well as the west side also. whenever i'm checkin out a new area o/b, I always talk to one of those guys to get a little beta.

Yep that's it. It doesn't seem too bad when you are skiing into it, but looking from below you do not want to fall.

    Here's the gut of it...

    The diagonal

This shot reminds me of skiing it one time with another mag (ahem!)... The snow was deep, his near miss- very real.

Look forward to skiing with you again sometime, buddy.

What a sweet bluebird cycle! Cornice cutting action on Bridger Peak. Found some super stable boot top pow in the Gallatins steep and due north. Havn't got to those pics yet.

Lots more cornice action here: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/...y/360786338758
