Today was fantastic, unfortunately I don't have any pictures. Did anyone else get the guy with the tele-snowlerblades on camera?
Missed the teleblades.
Today was one of the better days I've had. Nothin better than deep pow skiing
wow, sick powderMonday, saddle got shralped wall2wall...
(shitty pics as always, connected a more direct line above cliffs I hadn't done yet)
managed 6 variations on the front & finished by 2pm goin to argentina
(lookit the snow plastered to the westside windscour zone, nice light)
didn't even hafta use my AK, gotta say it was a good day...
(mildwillie duckin outta frame left, shitty scenics w/no action as usual...)

Nice to see what it's like up there, sounds like it was a damn good time to schralp saddle wall to wall, low danger, boot top creamy hero pow and all, must have been pretty sick. Look like people are just skiin right over to the y couloir from the ridgetop, huh. Pretty sweet to see so much terrain in play, must easily be the best year yet with the slushy lift.

Nice mnflyfish,
we'll have to find a way to satiate the fly fishing jones too. I'm trying to decide if i should bring my gear or not. might just leave it in montana and get in a few days when i go visit.
but if we're taking the train, i bet we line up at the lifts well behind Roo.

Strange photos from a strange day.
A little two way action into a little 3 bears
This thing dropped Matt off then tried to abduct slushman's to take as their own
After all season in the park, Ben has perfected this cool new position while hucking. It is called the Olle' power diamond and will score you all the chicks and help you stomp landings when hucking into the pinky finger.
Nice work matt
Just posted wicked photos from Canada right in here:

The entire mountain, with the exception of Saddle Peak Lodge, Virginia City Lift and Alpine Lift, will now be scheduled for operation through April 12, 2011.
The last day for Saddle Peak Lodge, Virginia City Lift , Alpine lift as well as Playcare services and regular ski school lessons will be April 3rd. Private Ski School lessons will be available by reservation only (556-5662) from April 4 through April 10th.
Adult Lift Tickets will be at the half-day rate of $39 from April 4th through April 12th. The Jim Bridger Lodge and Deer Park Chalet will be in operation. Available services will include reservations, snow sports lessons, rentals, retail, and food and beverage.
Buy the ticket...take the ride.
yes indeedy do mDubya anytime & we'll do it again Im sure, what a treat to bang 7lines on a *safe* saddle snowpack...
what happened to yer crew telemarc? git sum pics...? didn't hang around to see y'alls after rippin the heart of argentina-& it was oh so tasty
(won't killya with old details TC but 'twas a lil bettr than bootdeep at least in the a.m.- yes they traversed right into Y coolie across the suspect scary windpillow to noodle down thru trees etc- kind of a weird couple lines that didn't look superdeluxe for the exposure imho, also yerfave bridger peak got handled ystrdy by a buddy...)
zany but nice pics shreddEcord, most fun wins...
No worries dude. Mostly just bummed cause I'm missing out on the snowpack being so good this year. Hope it's not the last time that happens before the complete pussification of my skiing. Great pics guys, good to see ya's out there not sucking at life! More please...

Still delivering up there...
Quick question. Every time I ride up Slushman's, I wonder what's the name of the prominent north facing chute in the main cliff band below Saddle. Back in high school we called it Andy's Chute, but that's just because our buddy Andy was the first one of us to have skied it. You can't quite see it in Base's pics, but it is visible from the lift. Anyone know?
good times this weekend, just getting my shit together enough to post this up now...

We heard you in our twilight caves, one hundred fathom deep below, for notes of joy can pierce the waves, that drown each sound of war and woe.

^uppr left to lowr right...
turk calls it "lundy's luge"........ Id prob go with that
also been called odt's slot after another guy who liked to ski it...Ive been callin it just "the slot"...heard others refer to it as diagonal but thats already used in the main slshmn ravine so confusing...I'll git some better pics soon- definitely a no-fall exit from mid-saddle areas...

yeah it's outside the boundary but patrol still has reference names for damn near everything; out north as well as the west side also. whenever i'm checkin out a new area o/b, I always talk to one of those guys to get a little beta.
Yep that's it. It doesn't seem too bad when you are skiing into it, but looking from below you do not want to fall.
Here's the gut of it...

This shot reminds me of skiing it one time with another mag (ahem!)... The snow was deep, his near miss- very real.
Look forward to skiing with you again sometime, buddy.
What a sweet bluebird cycle! Cornice cutting action on Bridger Peak. Found some super stable boot top pow in the Gallatins steep and due north. Havn't got to those pics yet.
Lots more cornice action here: http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/...y/360786338758
Looks awesome down there at the moment! Thanks for all the pics guys, I'm hoping to get down for a visit before the end of the season!
