Sorry, that last post was thin on Gnar and hucking, Is this a chick chuck or a hick huck?

Ok, LAST TIME, Get out of my way when you see me coming cuz I'm a photog and this chick I'm with is a pro and we are the two sickest fuckers on this mountain. And don't even think of sitting at our table at the griz

Ok, boys do it like she does, hands forward, tight in the air and more stomping less splatting and maybe you can make my personal film role of gnar.

Just got back from my first foray to Bridgerland.
That chilly weather Thurs & Fri took some getting used to for a maritime leftcoaster. My trip kinda fell between storms; a whiff more fresh would have been nice. Beautiful weather otherwise. So it goes.
Didn't drop any uber-gnar, because I'm an oldish, fattish phuk with clunky knees. Still managed to get some quality work done.
Verrry helpful to have local knowledge available, to show me around.

Pretty durn cool hill you got there. Amazing variety of line options available.
    Hope to get back sometime.

Goddamn. shreddacord & telemarc -- you guys deliver. It's great to see some stoke despite the on-going windfuckage.

    Body Shop Reccomendation?

So I got rear ended coming down from Bridger a couple weeks ago and I finally got an estimate from my insurance company and from A&D Autobody. Both are pretty similar and seem about right. But A&D is scheduling out to JULY! I don't really feel like not having a bumper on my 4runner till then, so any other good shops in town?

i got pretty much hit head on at the intersection of rouse and tamarack a couple weeks ago. my truck isn't drive-able and i'm in a rental car. i called every shop in town that works with State Farm and everyone was at least a month out except for Big Sky Collision out in 4-corners. Hopefully the truck will be done in a week or so.

and of course all this had to happen just when i found out i have to sell the truck in a couple months.

A&D blows. My GF got her hail damage fixed there and they fed her line after line of BS. (Her Dad's a mechanic so she wasn't having any of it.) Overall, their works seems okay, but the customer service aspect is like an F-minus. They lied to her about what work had been done, didn't tell her that her car needed to come back in until she showed up to get it, etc., etc.

OK, i am obviously bored now. Good chalk yesterday out on the bitter end, just bring your ice axe to get up the boot pack.

If at first you don't succeed, go back when there is more snow. And if you fail again then you might suck and you should just drink beer at the Griz.

Oh, man, I am so stoked on your shots guys, beautiful and fun... /telemarc, that couloir was tops on my list of new places to check out this year, glad I get to have two great views down it anyways. vibes and good fortune to you all, great to hear of the good times from new comers and lifers alike. Even in my post op "condition"" all I can think of is how good to me this ski hill and it's community have been. Really greatful to all the people who have been so willing to share this place and it's good times with me. Super thankful as well to all the good peeps who have helped me out in the ski shops over the years. All things considered, I couldn't be in a better place in life. Can't wait to be back out there where I belong next year. Peace and powda to yall.

Thanks for the recommendations. Look's like I'm gonna go with base's guy... He happens to work on my neighbor's corvettes so I can't argue with that. Plus his estimate was 400 less than A&D's.

Made it up today. Maybe two days left till it's bulletproof. But it was still fun to rip around on the windgroomed slopes. Still desperately trying to recover from this nasty flu bug...don't think I've ever hacked as much as I did sucking wind up to the ridge today.

Anyone want to show a guy around on Mar 17th? Assuming a storm in a few days, I'll be rolling in to Bridger on the 17th for St Pats day. Never skied there before so a little local knowledge would be great. That said I'm only good for a few laps, I will have the family in tow.
Five minutes into the drive and you're already driving me crazy...

All you need to know is I was skiing way hotter lines than you have there at Thunder Ridge AKA T-Basin.

Good to hear from ya buddy, your are among my greatest inspirations and one of the top motivators in helping me understand what I needed to do to follow my dreams at a critical time in my life. Picking your brain at the old B.I.M. shop, staring at the trail map screen savers from all over the world, I still remeber alot of what you said to me some 10 years ago like it was yesterday. So stoked to be a disciple of your wisom and experience, Eric, get out here and rip with us someday.

Yeah, i'm fine. At the intersection of rouse and tamrack, girl just decided to turn left straight into the front of my truck. airbags popped, all that fun stuff. i called damn near everyone in town and big sky collision was the only one that looked like i would get my truck back in time to sell it.

And yeah I'm really stoked about the move to London. Not sure how much more Bridger fix i'll be able to get though. too freakin' busy, crazy to think about dropping everything in MT and moving like that. And i have to travel for i think 3 weeks out of my last 8 weeks in MT. I won't get to ski much next year, but a few choice long weekends and maybe a full week in the alps should keep the needs in check.

fez - you might want to try to MetalTech (on Story Mill right after you turn left off of Rouse/B-canyon).

They just did a super-fast turn-around job on our car from summer hail damage, and did a fantastic job. Not sure if they do anything more than the paintless dent repair stuff, but it would be worth a try.

Word on the mountain is that the lift served season will be extended from the original projected closing of April 3rd to Tuesday, April 12th....should be an official announcement soon.
