Those moon scapes are dope!
FUCK YEAH Scott! Looks like you guys had a killer year in-bounds and everything is ready to go. I will continue to live vicariously through this thread....keep them phots comin!
Cheers to a great season of riding the lifts up, finally stopped creeping around and got myself an account here...
Fun to see a bunch of people hiking it yesterday and bringing the dogs out to play too. Looks like some more snow might be on the way soon, it's back to skinning season!
Thanks Ned, hope you're enjoying South America. When do you return?
Happy first post, deft funk, welcome to the family
I am enjoying it, looking forward to life outside of the city. I don't return to the States until December...I will be staying down here and skiing for their winter, and then I have another Semester in S. Chile! I will be seeing you folks at Bridger Bowl again in early January, looking forward to it!

Is it just me or is it DUMPING IN TOWN RIGHT NOW?
Not just you.
Shitty photo from this morning:
~18 inches up high. Too busy trying not not get avalanched to take more photos... but damn good skiing.
It was very touchy up there this morning. I stepped onto one of those patrolman chutes and every single spine between me up top and the cattrack pulled out. Should be super sick if it sets up w/o too much sun. It was absolutely brutal coming out from the pierre's area to the base lodge. Probably took me 1/2 an hour.....good times besides that though.
Had fun the past couple days too - after most stuff slid Sunday, it cooled off a bit and stuck to the steep fun spine areas, made for some good skiing in the steeps.
Why can't more Bridger people be like you folks and stay away from Big Sky. No matter where you are, you can hear the tram line.
Not sure whether to be flattered or offended.
Good ol' freek week... I'll be there in the tram line tomorrow. Too bad that's where the good skiing's at.
We like to send the B team down there to remind you what an actual woman looks like and show you what your more progressive freerider neighbors are up to. Beeeyotch.Originally Posted by Team Blurr

Big Sky has been awesome this week. Skied Sunday through Wednesday and will probably ski Friday through closing. Tuesday was $$$ tons of fresh blower on a deep deep base. Huge props to the people ripping the Little and Doby's today. And to the tracks down the tram face under the right car. Reediculous.
Listening to the radio right now talk about heavier snowfalls above 7000 feet from a strong system developing over the PacNW. Closing weekend should be awesome.
It was kind of funny yesterday when the disgruntled locals in the tram line were complaining about Bridger people making the lines too long, and then we went and skied almost vacant lifts on the rest of the mountain.
It's the last week, quit yer bitchin and go ski!
company on top of the bannana today
Happy Easter. Here are a few from this morning:
Shit was movin in a large way. Still dry in the shadows. Hooray for La Nina!

Hey guys, really stoked on all this stuff. Just checked in today after weeks of technical difficulties. Fixed for good now so I'm here to talk regular smack until I am well enough to post some stoke again. The Virtues must have been sick that day, Norse. The Slushmans spine lines looks amazing, best I've ever seen that area. Second season is the shit for sure when you hit it right, even though I can't ski I'm hoping for more snow for you guys. Gotta install the video stuff on my computer again to check out the vids, can't wait.
8 weeks post op now and doing really well, really grateful for the town bike paths, it beats the shit out of riding inside on the trainer. I'm really feeling like I can crush some singletrack soon enough, and feeling really optimistic about next year. Definetly no spring or even summer turns, but It's gonna take a lot more than an acl and half a meniscus to force me into early retirement. The killing spree continues in Nov. 2011 bitches, until then get out and slay for me.

Saw the vid, very impressive guys. I've always wondered if people ever hit that cliff into lost shot bowl, nice.

Absolute perfection up there this morning. Go and get some boys.
Watched a nice show of shooting stars on the way up, then shredded perfect orange hero pow down. Totally stoked. Was able to link a line with like 5 turns down a foot wide spine, blast out across the sluff pouring from one side, few more turns then an air into the flowing sluff train and ride it out. So awesome and fun.
What a spring, as good as skiing can get, at least for an old duffer like me.
Tone Capone, thanks for the Alpine Day Makers and the snowpack talks. I really appreciate that shit man. And thanks for being totally stoked to talk skiing throughout the knee ordeal.
