100% relative humidity means that the air has reached its saturation point for this temperature (as it concerns water vapour). most likely at 100% relative humidity clouds will form, however it does not necessarily mean that it is going to rain or snow. now if you lower the temperature of the air that is already at 100% humidity quickly, say, by pushing it upwards, you will likely get rain/snow...

now i've managed to confuse saturation, humidity, relative humidity and rain in a single sentence. i expect to be smacked down relatively soon

At least 20" on Ajax, and over the head pow at 3:00PM. It was a bell to bell kind of day!

Where the hell are the pictures dude?

So I think I'm heading up to Loveland early.

If anyone is going up from Boulder, has room in their car and wants to save me from risking I-70 in my crappy fwd car, hit me up (compensation in the form of gas $ and/or beer), otherwise I will hopefully make it up there!
I'm having the best time being off my pickle and feeling the music. -HT

I don't take many pics inbounds around here. Especially, in the type of weather we had today.

nice to hear. I headed south over Bertha around 530 (once Coffee & Tea closed) and the pass was getting totally pounded; visibility about 50 ft (maybe).

    [edit, nearly forgot]
lift served: Zephyr and Eskimo opening tomorrow around 10

Anyone ski Vail today? It looks like they opened up most of the front side, with over 1,000 acres now open. That's awfully tempting...

I was going to, but then reconsidered because of the road conditions. I didn't want to have to come back over vail pass when it was nuking. It ended up being a good decision I guess, looks like I-70 east was/is closed at vail pass due to accidents.

Skied bell to bell today. Had the second gondi car first thing, then had the 2nd chair when they dropped the rope on chair 4. It was knee deep and thigh deep in spots. Complete and utter whitout up top all day. Wind was crazy. Tomorrow is gonna be SWEET. The bottom of the mtn was weak sauce. Up top was where it was at, rumor that more terrain will open tomorrow, I say you should all go to Breck. The roads are too bad i think.
