Vail to open at least 550 acres and 14 lifts for tomorrow. Has not been crowded at all thus far. Headed to Keystone tonight, assumming 70 doesn't get shut down. It's on like Donkey Kong.

I'm not sure why people think CB, WC, and Telluride are going to open all this terrain THE DAY they get the snow. Sure, they may open a run or two extra on top of what they already have, but give them a day or two to get shit scoped out.

In a way, each of us has an El Guapo to face. For some, shyness might be their El Guapo. For others, a lack of education might be their El Guapo. For us, El Guapo is a big, dangerous man who wants to kill us. But as sure as my name is Lucky Day, the people of Santa Poco can conquer their own personal El Guapo, who also happens to be *the actual* El Guapo!

I am headed to WC or CB on Tuesday from Boulder if anyone wants to roll that way. They should have adequate time to suss things out and get things open by Tuesday.

Sounds like global warming and not this thread is to blame.

Latest models do look much weaker. Central mountains now look like the 6-8 range. What happened? Better than nothing I suppose, at this point, I am just gonna hope it snows at all.

I've been too busy to check TGR all day. So, I just read through this entire thread. It was kinda like a coke high. I got really really buzzed at the beginning and now I'm depressed and all I can think about is getting more snow.

I'll be in breck tonight. Probably hit Vail tomorrow.
