At least 20" on Ajax, and over the head pow at 3:00PM. It was a bell to bell kind of day!

No shit, were you in the lineup when the opened face of bell? I thought I spotted your two tone helmet in crowd going in. That shit was nice. If it keeps snowing tonight the big boards may come out tomorrow

Awesome! Damn I should have used one of my Aspen days. Would tomorrow be worth the drive from Eagle?

Hanging Tree? Yep that was me, and I got another in after that.

Kya, I'm sure it will be good tomorrow, but I just don't know how much more they can open.

Ya, it was just little better than Thanksgiving weekend. Keep an eye on the Highlands opener next weekend.

the whole aspen area is way overhyped. silverton will be the place to be for the next couple of weeks - nothing else will even compare.

stoked to hear that aspen got theres. may have to come down to carbondale next weekend.

just returned from a type II tour up on vail pass. it was not snowing when we started this morning, but between 10 am and 3 pm it easily snowed 8 to 12 inches. Not a whole of turns, but still great to be out in the mountains on a snowy day!

I just got back from Breck. The sky opened up in the afternoon and it was DUMPING. I'm an idiot and didn't line-up a place to stay up there tonight, so back to Golden I headed. I-70 was a total shit-show with cars figure skating all over the place, which was especially fun in my jetta with a clutch on the fritz. I'm still not sure how I made it through.

If this snow continues through the night like it is supposed to, tomorrow will rock (well, at least if more terrain gets opened). Where are people planning to go? Anyone with a more capable vehicle willing to pick up one more?? It would definitely earn ya some beers!

I went to Loveland today- not much new snow during the day, but I heard it started dumping later in the afternoon. They opened up a few more runs, but nothing significant. They should be opening the Chair 6 terrain in the next few days.

Reports anyone? Montanagirl? What is WP doing?

I am staying in WP starting on Dec 18th.....and at this rate (of Tahoe suckyness) that might be the first skiing I get......so I am rooting hard for CO storms!!!! Bring it.

complete skunkage thus far on Monarch Pass. I am restraining myself from a total fucking temper tantrum right now...

can someone with a better understanding of meteorology explain to me how it can be 100% humidity, 18 degrees and not snowing?

you should go to weather school to learn more. maybe that would prevent a temper tantrum
