What was the cops initial story on the Tulsa murder? "Suspect" wouldn't comply, wouldn't put his hands up? Then he was acting like he was on pcp because Betty is trained to recognize when someone is on pcp. Then the "suspect" reached in to his vehicle which made Betty fear for her life so she murdered him.

Unfortunately for Betty the dashcam didn't malfuntion. Unfortunately for Betty her husband was flying the helicopter and caught it all on film. Unfortunately there is proof that he couldn't have been reaching in to his car as evidenced by his blood splattered all over his rolled up window (thank you chopper).

Added bonus points for the husbands commentary that "this looks like a bad dude too, could be on something". Double bonus for watching him bleed out while they went in to some type of safety huddle and then that procedural(?) safety walk backwards ( Iv'e never seen that, WTF is that?, sorry Timber for the caps but I hope your feelies arent hurt. There was this conviction also in Tulsa last year.

The case is the second high-profile killing of an African American man in as many years in Tulsa to result in charges filed against law enforcement. Last year, Kunzweiler charged a 73-year-old reserve sheriff’s deputy with second-degree manslaughter for fatally shooting Eric Harris, an unarmed black man.

The deputy, Robert Bates, claimed he mistook his gun for his Taser when he opened fire. Body camera footage from the shooting showed Harris struggling and telling officers “I’m losing my breath,” to which one responded: “Fuck your breath.” Bates was found guilty earlier this year and has been sentenced to four years in prison.

It looks like she ran in to the side of a car on her bike and caused damage. The driver was trying to get her info. She was trying to leave. She was not cooperating with the cops and escalated the whole situation. Cop probably shouldn't have sprayed her but she was warned numerous times to settle down and put her feet in the car so they could close the door. I think she was scared shitless that her mom was going to find out.

One account has her laying motionless on the ground for 30 seconds after the collision. Maybe her behavior could have been caused by a concussion. Whatever, the best course of action was to cause her further injury and pepper spray her AFTER her legs were in the car and the door was closed.

Of course they could have just followed her home and then talked to her parents or whatever but they're crime fighters.

This^^^^. The most egregious part is that after saying she needs to be taken to a hospital for her own good, they take her to the police station after they assaulted her.
We don't get to see what was said to her before the cop with the body cam comes up to her but she was already pretty pissed.
There's a way to talk to people to get them to cooperate and a way to talk to them to make them uncooperative so you can show them what a badass you are.
I feel sorry for that cops kids when they get to be teenagers.

Again, if she really was laying in the street seemingly unresponsive for 30 seconds after the collision she might have suffered a head injury. People with head injuries are often confused and combative. I'm not saying that is the case but without a thorough medical evaluation the further escalating the intensity was stupid on the cops part. Yes, follow her home when she tried to ride away on her bike. What else did the cops have to do but beat up and pepper spray a teenage girl? It's not like there was someone that needed shooting nearby.

Now you're just being obtuse. The cops and EMS were trying to detain her for medical reasons initially or so they claim. They didn't need to escalate it to the level they took it to. Do you believe that LEOs are our keepers and we must obey whatever they command?
