Not saying that laughing while being highly uncomfortable isn't a thing. That's not what I am talking about.

I could post other examples but its too disturbing to me.

    Police Behaving Badly

NC State trooper shoots deaf man in his driveway. Apparently the trooper had tried to pull victim over, but deaf victim didn't stop until he got home. Won't be any protests over this one.

Cop charged with "Assault Under Color of Authority" for kicking an already handcuffed guy in the head.

Prosecutors are finally starting to get it. This cop is a brutal sadist who had no reason to be wearing a badge and uniform.

Next on the agenda are the 7 other cops in this video who (a) witnessed their fellow cop commit a felony and did not stop him, and (b) lied on their police reports about what happened.

Calling the cops and then having a gun in your hand when they arrive is probably not the brightest move--assuming the cops aren't lying about the gun.

Whole lot of race baiting in that article.

Is having a gun (at your home) in Indianapolis illegal? Maybe not the brightest thing to do but I'll wait for the video and or the victims side of the story. Seeing a gun is not a license to shoot.

New Southgate police chief was convicted of assault in 2004

    http://www.fox2detroit.com/news/loca...93177115-story

    Meet the new boss...

It's an issue he says was so far in the past, it's no longer relevant.
This is the face of the woman Brian Klonowski beat in 2004. They had just met at a party when she says, she turned down his advances. Then she says the officer yanked her into the ground from a chair, punching her until her eye hemorrhaged and her nose and her cheekbone broke.
He was convicted with assault after pleading no contest, he was suspended without pay from the Southgate Police Department for one year. Although the city brought him back to work after only three months.

"Attorney For Teen Who Allegedly Spiked Officer's Drink With Drugs Questions Ofc. Story"

"The amount of drugs you would have to put in to mix up, we're looking at $500 of methamphetamine, probably ten grams to get one sip to be affected," said Richards.
He adds the meth would have had the opposite effect than what the officer described as feeling drowsy and having a delayed response.
"You may be a little bit hyper, maybe more to put on the gas, but you certainly don't lose your ability to lose that kind of thing," he added.
Richards disputes the claim that Ukena put anything in the drink saying six security cameras in the store do show Ukena near the drink and the drink is always visible.
"You can go frame by frame and you can see that he never puts anything in it," he says.
He says his client had no motive to do harm to the officer and adds that the only time Ukena would have known the officer was in fact a police officer was when he approached the drive-thru window, stating there were no cameras where you place your order.
He also says police never found any evidence of drugs inside the Subway.
"The have two drug dos and don't find a packet to hold the meth, they don't have a vile. The dogs don't hit on nothing. They go check his car they hit on nothing, they search him they hit on nothing," says Richards.
He's had his reputation destroyed. He's been getting hate mail, hate emails, and look at the blogs on all the news media, they all think he's guilty," said Richards.
Richards says his client voluntarily submitted to a blood test and says Ukena remains adamant that he is innocent.

Cops pepper spray 84 year old woman. Notably tasing her son when he has his hands up and is being cooperative doesn't even get mentioned.

Gotta love his response. "It was embarrassing and unfortunate" No you beat the shit out of a woman for turning you down.

Here is the police unions response to his crime after he was reinstated:

Police union: Cop is not a criminal

To the Editor: Regarding the matter involving Southgate police Officer Brian Klonowski and Gina Falconer in Romulus:

Klonowski, who resides in Southgate, was attending a birthday party in Romulus. Falconer was in attendance at this party.

The chain of events of what happened at this party is all a matter of public record.

The incident was adjudicated before Judge Brian Oakley in 34th District Court and Klonowski has had his day in court.

As a result, Klonowski was ordered to comply with a number of provisions ordered by the court.

Once the verdict on this incident had been determined, the union and Southgate police administration met a number of times, finally negotiating a discipline for Klonowski, which was accepted by both Klonowski and the Southgate police.

Klonowski is serving this discipline in conjunction with his court-ordered sanctions. Southgate Mayor Dennis David has recently amended this discipline.

The issue that the 28th District Court was in need of a technician and Klonowski was in need of interim employment appears to be a fit.

His knowledge of and experience with the local court system at 28th District Court would make for a short intern period.

Klonowski has a right to earn a living. Additionally, this is not Klonowski's only job.

The remarks by Police Chief Larry Hall in the media have not been subjective and are grossly inappropriate for a public official.

Certainly, as a resident of Southgate, Hall has a right to his opinion, but as the chief of police he should rely on unbiased fact, not personal opinion.

Klonowski is not a criminal. He is a man who made a mistake and has quietly complied with those sanctions set forth by the 34th District Court and departmental discipline.

The comments of Hall are totally unprofessional and unwarranted.

This union supports the responsible manner in which Klonowski has faced this difficult time in his life and has responded to those sanctions set forth by the 34th District Court and the Southgate Police Department.

Moss Point police chief given ride home after reckless-driving stop

    PASCAGOULA
Pascagoula police gave Moss Point Police Chief Art McClung a ride home after officers clocked him going 109 mph in a city vehicle, and McClung told them he’d had “at least three vodkas.”
McClung was pulled over and questioned by Pascagoula police July 29, but was not cited or arrested. No report was written about the stop.

This might be one for the ages,

Miami Cop Who Attacked Fellow Officer at Gas Station Sued for Police Brutality

Jackson had apparently kept his own GoPro camera on his police cruiser's dashboard to record arrests — but that habit came back to bite him after he recorded himself pulling over a City of Miami internal affairs officer, yanking the high-ranking cop out of his car, and tossing him to the ground before the IA cop — Lt. David Ramras — stood up and screamed, "Do you know who the fuck I am?"

why do 3 other cop cars immediately show up? do they hang around together so they can all get in on the ass-kicking. the second cop seemed to be in a big hurry to get some.
bad sign--when the cop who pulls you over has a uniform shirt a couple of sizes small to show off his 'roid enhanced arms.
