OK, so it is coming time to really figure out this riding thing. It seems that Beandip is not bringing the roadie so I think it is mostly mountain bikers. There is a pretty decent loop of vast trail and fire roads near sprites and if we get ambitous we should be able to end up at the Long Trail Brewery for beers. We would have to get picked up though. So.....who is still thinking about biking?

I'm bringing mine, as is the girl, but she might not be up for our kind of ride. I don't know how ambitious I'll be myself.

Hey, another thing we need folks to bring are chairs...as in folding chairs or jewel-encrusted thrones. That kind of thing.

    Fuck this.

    I'm not coming.

    I can't burn skis.

    I can't roast babies.

How dare you call this an ULLRfest.

    Ok, I'll still come.

Just wanted you to know I plan on being there, though as mentioned before, Mister SheSkisTrees will be at Jay for his ski patrol refresher. (weekend of refresher ALWAYS brings snow, so it's good that it's happening the same time as UllrFest...more good karma in the Vermont air )

I won't be bringing a bike. I'll probably be showing up in the late afternoon Saturday. I will bring at least one pair of skis for the chair. Also, I will bring as many of our camping chairs as I can find (4, 5 or 6 of them). Food and drink contributions will remain a secret until I arrive...just to keep up some sort of anticipation.

Not sure what time the debauchery starts - paging Sprite... My theory is the earlier the better. And I'll shot gun a beer with you when you arrive.

What time do people want to ride at? Although, I am getting the feeling not too many peeps will be making the ride. Everyone is backing out .

There's a movement in the schools around here. Halloween is no longer Halloween. It's book character day.

WHAAAAAT???? Political correctness is killing our nation.

Aren't we considered a liberal state here? Seriously COME ON. We have more important things to worry about.

I should be there between 6pm and 7pm. That sounds like a good time for debauchery.

I'm still up for a ride, but I'm limited to the road b/c I don't own a mountain bike. Are any other roadies bringing bikes? If not, then put me down for starting debauchery earlier rather than later.

How tall are you? I have an extra mountain bike if you are interested. It is a hard tail K2. And it sounds like nobody is bringing roadies anymore. I would be game for any type of ride. And I think Train07 has no mtn. bike either so you can always hang with him....

    I'm very slow.

I should finish the marathon by 2. I'll be out of there by 2:30 to 2:45. I have to make a quick stop in Providence on the way. By all accounts, Ludlow is 3½ hours from P.

I'm not scratching any balls...but beer drinking and working w/ tools sounds okay. Wait, you guys are not tools! I think I'm diggin myself a hole here...

As far as I know, a few of us are showing up on Friday nite. So we'll be there Saturday. Show up as early as you like. If there is any road biking to be done, I'm guessing that will not be until 1 or 2pm. I'll let bumpskier rally the mtn bikers.

If the road ride fizzles, there is plenty of hiking around to be done...

Or we can just shoot bow and arrow and slingshots out back until the mtn bikers show up and the partyers arrive. (sorry, I'm a real redneck @ heart)

I'm planning on getting up there around 12-1pm. I'm brining a mtn bike but I might take a trip up to see Vin at OOB and look at getting some new boots so I may or may not ride. If I dont ride, that will be another bike someone can use.

    Bows and arrows?...
    Slingshots?...
    Power tools?...
    Plenty booze?...

I knew you folks could put together some form of sacrifice, even if it is just an eye or two here, a couple fingers or a foot there.

    Ullr will be pleased.

    Have a blast!
