    DP October delivery update

I just emailed DP to see what the cutoff was for October delivery orders. The reply had some info in it that might be of interest to anyone ordering DP's or some 138's:

First off, thanks for you interest in dp skis and in particular the Lotus
    138. As for reserving a pair for October, this is what you need to know.
We will take reservations through September for October delivery and
availibilty should not be an issue. However, one change is that in two
weeks we will start to require a $390.00 deposit for a reservation. So,
reserve when you like, but remember the opportunity to do so without a
deposit ends in two weeks. We charge the balance at the time of shipment.

Also, we have the Lotus 138 presently available. This years' version will
have a little less rocker than next year's version, but otherwise will be
the same. Less rocker may be more favorable for maritime snow, while more
rocker is intended for even greater tip float in the continental fluff.
The reviews of our skis have been strong and you can find them largely on
the forum section of tetongravity.com. Some of the skis have had cosmetic
problems and we are fixing the problem and warrantying those skis.

    Sincerely,

    Rob Liberman
