Have a great time, everybody... Chicago last weekend... and Munich next weekend. I'll once again raise a pint glass from a distance.

picking it up on Friday before heading up that, and a couple dozen NYC bagels of course!
Good stuff C! Sorry I missed your text earlier about that... Good 'ole VT... you only get cell service 1/2 the time!

Bring LOTS of salt and everything bagels...they are my favorite!

I'm so jealous, I wish I could just hop on a plane and head out there. Will be toasting by my own fire pit with a cold Leinie's and pretending I'm there.

I hope you know that we all hold you guys personally responsible for the amt of snow we see this year!

Be sure to save a couple bagels for this

EDIT: Are Yeungling and Rolling Rock available in VT? I know when I go out west, it's hit or miss in different towns.

    Question

It's getting close folks, and I'm still not sure about something...

Who is bringing the maple syrup, feathers and jelly beans?

Maple syrup shouldn't be hard to get last minute - it is Vermont after all. You would think that stuff grows on trees up there.

I don't know about maple syrup, but I am thinking amaretto, 151, some sort of light beer and a jug of carlo rossi will make the trek down from burlington

after bushwaker's performance last year I feel the need to redeem young folks the world over

Yum!!! Amaretto and coffee...perfect for a chilly fall evening. Just had one of those last nite, in fact.

You're doing a good job so far of redeeming, soul_skier!

Healdville Trail. I mention it in the other thread. Great hike. Very Close to Sprite's.

I'm beginning to like this kid, but you still have to pass the tool test.

Sprite what kind of food stuffs you need people to bring??

Everyone is required to bring 1 lb. of bacon as payment for attendance.

**BD4A is not bringing her road bike. I think this officially means a Mtn. Bike ride is in order. There is a great loop near Sprite's house. Weather should be pretty decent.**

Well, I have a hudge-ass pork roast I'm marinating and a ginormous package of italian sausage. I also have cheese/cracker/grape nibbly stuff (obligatory hostess platters will be stylistically produced).

Whatever you guys bring I will throw on the grill. Except your first-borns. There will be no human sacrifices at this party. I have had no problems w/Vermont's Finest and I intend to keep it that way.

I think it's fair to say that offerings of bacon, grillable food, corn on the cob, and other munchies we can throw on the buffet table will be appreciated.

Oh, we need cream cheez for the bagels (or are you bringing that, Court?).

And...if we start running out of food or booze, Shaws and beer places are right around the corner.

    Sprite

PS...Who's showing up on Friday nite (raise your hand)?

Yes. Sprite, what should we bring? We'll either be packing a cooler or picking up stuff once we get up there Friday night. I won't be able to keep as much beer as I'm bringing cold for the duration of the drive, so I'm guessing we'll pick up ice on the way? PM me if you think of anything specific. The lady and I are getting stoked. We're both bringing mtn. bikes, and some trail riding would be nice, but we'll both enjoy a hike if we go that route.

Oh yeah...ice and coolers will be a good thing. Isn't there something interesting you guys eat down there in PA? Bring that, we will put it on the grill.

Actually, we could probably use some salsa and chips to keep the drunks at bay while I cook and build a chair.

And flashlights. We can see by the light of the bonfire but it's dark in them thar hills...

Anyone who has a camping lantern we can hang up or something--bring that too pleez.

Or if you are an electrician and can fix my porch light/install the new light fixture I purchased at home depot...well that's even better!

    Sprite--

I'll bring chips/salsa and veggies/hummus for the masses, along with bacon, beef, booze, etc.

Do you need wood for the fire?

We're all set wit the wood!

Oh, and also...We are still doing this if it rains--a la "Woodstock." No crying or pussies allowed.

You just drink more beer, throw another log on the bonfire, and it's fine, baby!

Looks like the "Mrs" and I are coming up Friday night. We'll be able to help prepare for the festivities.

This shindig was looking so snow promising until this point.

How 'bout a lamb? Do you have any lambs? Word on the street is that Ullr might settle for a goat, but it'll have to be a virgin.
