It's super-annoying. It was only a matter of time before they started showing ads, I just wish that they had more than one ad to show. Although I was getting a little tired of Pac-Man- why that pattern, Pac-Man? Why leave those two dots down in the lower right-hand corner? Sometimes I don't understand you at all.

I would vom if the Sox traded for Milledge.

Well, the Astros are on an 8-game skid... but Biggio is only 28 hits away... at least there will be something special about this season, if nothing else...

The Rox have won 6 straight, and their starting pitching has been $$$. I'd love to see them make a run in the NL West.

pretty good game from schilling last night, lasted 7 innings, struck out 10 against one of the AL's best hitting teams.

hope to see that keep up all season, but i'd be surprised.

The mets' magic number is 109, and are the only team in the NL over .600! woo hoo! They have the second-best record in baseball!

and atlanta is 4-6 in their last ten. life is good.

I'd be surprised too, but he did look good last night. He topped out at 94 a few times, that doesn't suck.

Papelbon scared the piss out of me but then worked it and came back nails. A little worrisome but good stuff.

He and Papelbon were both hitting higher than they have in a while. I'm inclined to think the gun was fairly accurate, as both pitchers appeared to have more zip on the fastball.

I really, really hope Schilling has figured out what's been ailing him the last few starts. Last night's result was very encouraging, especially the action on the splitter. That's kind of the key to his game, and it hasn't been there recently. If 1. Schilling's got it together, 2. Beckett is effective upon his return, and 3. Ramirez is finally hitting, then this is a pretty good team.

Also... Pedroia! Little guy is killing it, even if he is slower than Youkilis.

Speaking of Youk, good god is that guy on a tear. And his defense has been fantastic!

8 straight multiple hit games? 20 game hitting streak. I'm definitely buying a youk shirt at some point.

Pretty good for a guy who isn't on the All-Star ballot.

Big Show time! I think they're going to be in a good mood today.

Anyone remember who that Matsuzaka bet was between? Someone bet someone else $100 that Dice wouldn't get to 15 wins. Hes on pace for 21-6. . . It definitely helps when the Sox are hitting the way they are.

I'll put down 100 that that doesn't happen. Jeez, some of you Sox fans think he's the second coming. BFD.

On April 6, he was on pace for 32-0. As you can see, his performance is declining. He may not win 10 games.

In case it was ambiguous in my post, I was actually asking if anyone knew who made the original bet; it wasn't actually me. But interesting to note that you would put down $100 that he doesn't win 8 of his remaining 20-25 starts.

I meant 100 for the 21-6 thing. Let's make that clear.

Nice showing tonight, they were having fun. Great to see Beckett pitching so well after his break. Lowell's foot is gonna hurt tomorrow, though. And Youk, what can you say? En fuego.

And the look on the Yankees players after the game was worth the price of admission alone.

Not when Abreu, Damon, Cano, and Matsui are combining to hit about .250 this year.

Pettitte has to be happy... 1 ER and he gets the loss.
