Tahoe's firing off fields of corn. Skied 2500' of it off the back of Round Top with gimpy. Had to ski the Crescent on our way back to the car since it was on the way. It was mostly chalky.

Ridefree, Shugs, Zippy, Jrosen32, and I basically skied West Shore all day...mid winter grippy steepness was had. Doing the same all over again tomorrow. The rest of Kirkwood was variable. Mid winter snow in North facing aspects, to freeze/thaw in Fingers/Pali.

There are a few other big lines back here:

    HOT as HELL:

Still a bit wintry on the hanging snowfield:

SC, that TR is worthy of its own thread. I hope you will put it up.

Tahoe firing...one storm system and we are still using the thread.
We are deep in to spring skiing now and by the end of the week we should be about where we were at then end of April last year, Get some while you can.

Always making good mtn. and slope choices Sierra Cement and gimpy. I would have run into you out there on that long S facing run if I didn't end up riding the flanks of the ancient Mt. Tehama volcano.

it's been summer time after work at the beach this week... without the swimming and all. but it is filled w/ posses of s.americans drinking booze, playing guitar, and spinning hippy sticks.

it does look like it is going to cool down beginning of next week though.

and then after work beers at the beach will discontinue.

Really? I was out Tuesday and found winter snow on a N aspect and porn on the NE, but the only thing knee deep was the mank on the south facing boot pack. What elevation?
