I am almost positive that they bombed thimble and caused that slide on '99 steps' on Tuesday of last week.

Biggest crown I have ever seen. Had to be 10ft+ on Wednsday when I rode chair 4. Slide debris all the way down to the flats under chair 4.

Welcome to spring skiing in Tahoe - Guys in bikinis, girls with their shirts off, and snow that is as corny as Kansas in August.
Enjoy it until the second coming of winter.

No kidding 6'er. 64 degrees on Sunday! 65 on Monday .

Gimpy and I were an hour early for the quality corn run this AM on Red Lake. Since we had job duties we couldn't chill in the sun and wait for the thaw. So instead we did 2,500' of firm snow foot massage, joint loosening, filling shaking skiing. I should have brought ear plugs!

Definitely freeze thaw up to 10,000'.

we were skiing at 8 am and even w/ a clear sunny sky it was just barely edgeable. weird cause its usually fine by then, but i think 9:30-10 would have been ideal today. methinks that the little bit of precip/rain we got yesterday caused the pack to really freeze hard last night. on teus i skied a lesser known corn run on tallac and it was pretty good by 8 but the pack wasn't nearly as consolidated as red lakes.

and yeah lph, we were skiing the east face of red lake but not the gully itself.

Just flew up with Shugs from San Jose. The temp gauge was reading 32 F at 11, 500 feet. OUCH! The cloud cover made everything look depressing, took some RAW recon shots of Kit Carson/Iron Mountain, etc.

Rumor has it you guys hooked the NeoGeo machine up to the autopilot and just let it do the flying.

Close. They made a special model just for them...the Gulfstream 6. It comes with paperwork certifying that it was cursed by a member of the Church of Satan.
