Thread: What do you ride? Snowboard.

The cartels are sick. By far my favorite binding (A little stiffer then the missions which is what I like.

When the cartels first came out they were breaking boards because of the little "wings" in the base by your heel. If you landed a little too far on the tail or nose they would cause a pressure point right behind the binding like using your knee to break a stick. I almost gave up on em' but Burton figured it out for all the following releases and they flared these upwards instead of leaving the points on the board. No more broken boards since and a happy advres I have been.

I may be switching up the bindings on the gnu though. I got hooked with a pair of Technine MFM pros and Rome 390s so I will be checking those out. Heard nothing but good things about both.

It looks to be like your bindings only reach the ball of your foot? Is that what I am seeing? That must suck, IMHO.

We have a nice little quiver at home...different board for different conditions.

    Winterstick Mirror 149?
    Arbor Element 158
LibTech Matt Cummins sig series 159
    Neversummer T5 163
    Neversummer T5 168
Neversummer Titan 164(built as a split by neversummer)
Neversummer Titan 169(built as a split by neversummer)

I ride 2 different bindings. Ride SPI's (which I dont really like) and Burton P1-Carbon Fiber bindings(which absolutly rock, but forced me to buy more padded boots because the carbon fiber is sooo incredibly stiff)

Does anyone ride Option snowboards? When I went to Whistler to snowboard for my first time I noticed Option was all over the place. They are based in Vancouver.

I'm having trouble finding a board that I can ride without toe drag. Size 11 boots are ride in the middle between mid-wide and wide boards =[

Prior will make custom boards, any size, up to 34cm wide, and 205cm long, I believe. (I'll check) Pricey, but handmade, just for you, in Wheestler, eh.

    Hmmmm, Catek.

The Solly 914 for the TGR Snowboard set?

I may be intrigued enough to get a pair.

I've been rocking K2 wide boards for a decade (good shop deal):

    Fat Bob 159
    Trucker 163
    Nemesis 165 (x2)

    Solly Bindings, until now..?

No, no. Don't have to trade, just suggesting the Cateks as perhaps the bombproof standard (like the s914) for TGR knuckledraggers.

Sorry, I have some 20yo tyrolias if you want those?
