I dont ski Snowbird anymore ya ding-dong, but I obviously should. Prolly getting a midweek pass next season now I see it's not as bad as the haters say it is. I am def jealous of everyone today that got gate drops, thats for sure. Looked good Tgapp, as always. And Gonif too.

I keep my trap shut about plenty of stuff, talking about the bird on TGR isn't one of them. Come up, have some fun, I'll show you my spots they're all on the trail map.
If you just go everytime it snows, or even might snow, eventually you get blessed. Theres no way to really know when its going to happen. Ive had 10 elbows up slowburd pow days this year, and one where it was supposed to snow 3 and the bird got 24 and noone showed up. Odds improve with multi day storm cycles.

Snow held up great at basin today. North faces were great. Caught rope drop on middle bowl cirque and took a few more laps there. North faces should still be good for the first part of tomorrow.

what a weekend. old leftover snow skied great, sun was out. slush if you skied the right faces, soft if you skied the other right faces.

    perfect wasatch weekend.

I think the time change brings on the migration to bikes in the desert/golf/whatever the fuck people do when they don't ski on the weekends and crowds disapate. it's a great time of the year!

That makes more sense, it comes across differently here without context. No traffic and powder is rare these days.

Been a minute since I’d skied with Teledave. We’ve gotten older but it’s still fun making turns.

hey my dudes, visiting my lady's fam in central utah (delta area) this upcoming weekend. I have an open day on sunday and monday, was curious if there is any chill touring ideas for nearish-by? I will have a doggo or two. Was also thinking of checking eaglepoint resort one of the days, do they let you tour the resort when they are closed on midweek? and is there a way to maybe access some of their backcountry with a dog or are the laps are short enough she can stay in the lot and I can just visit her periodically.

They do not allow touring when they are closed.

whoa, thanks for that link! the backcountry access page has a section of uphill touring when the resort is off hours, but yah, i figured they wouldnt allow actual skiing on the slopes.

Check with www.skitushar.com Alec has touring access near Eagle point. Might allow self guided for a nominal fee.

Cross post from the parking thread but a last minute change of plans has me in town this weekend and I get to ski with my kid, which is unusual. Got a Friday Alta parking pass, but still looking for Sat/Sun if anyone has oene they arent gonna use. Crossposting here because if youre like me you rarely open the other thread. Sorry for the non-stoke. Will attempt to add stoke on Monday if photos work.

Anyone want to trade a coupe of your Snowbasin tickets for a couple Snowbird tickets?

Additionally we potentially have a couple additional Snowbird tickets up for grabs for someone in need for trade for ??? or just for good vibes.

    LMK!
There's nothing better than sliding down snow, flying through the air
