Fun skiing with TFW this beautiful morning. It was snowing nicely when I left at 3.

Between 830 and 9 is my prediction. As of 8 the lines aren't looking too bad so I predict it won't be that shit showy, but I've been wrong before.

Today was really really good!! Road was smooth sailing after they opened right at 8:30, walk on lifts, shuttle pulled up 3x in a row right as we hit the condo stop sign, and plenty of face shots.

I did feel sorry for this Lyft driver....hope they got tipped well!

Brett does good work, he's helped me before. If you want the actual best, Matt Schiller PC Boot Room. He's hard to get an appointment with, he's busy doing the US Team's boots. WELL worth the wait, and the drive up to PC in ski season. Love Mandy but Brett is an order above her experience and expertise, Matt a Quantum level.

Yeah, conditions today were awesome. Had to bail at 1:15 for work. That hour between 12-1 was dumping so hard. Watched a UTA bus almost go into the creek at the upper entrance to the quarry trail below White pine. Couldn’t believe he didn’t slide off towards the creek, but he subsequently put it in the ditch at the bottom of tanners causing the sheriffs to close uphill traffic. Not much udot can do when it’s snowing 5 inches in an hour.

It was dumping all day at DV, but the snow was heavy and very wet. Felt like PNW skiing. Athletic skiing, for sure. Stayed over at Sultan and Mayflower. Trees were really nice, but the open areas were filled with moguls and mashed potatoes by 9:45. East village PL is not close to ideal. I had to wait for 3 Disney shuttles to get to the blue bubble.

Being in that bus would give me PTSD to take it again in any future snowstorm.
I waited 2 hours and 45 minutes at Snowbasin for second chair on Middle Bowl. Conditions had all the variables and I thought of bailing to work right away. Its always different than LCC skiing out here. Morning turned out decent though when I found out where the snow DIDNT pile up, ha.

Need to setup a gofundme for OpenSnow to keep telling people to go to DV + UDOT to go with unknown canyon openings. Yesterday at the Bird definitely didnt suck, 0 traffic either way, no lines and easy parking at 1030am. I didnt venture to the top but snow was really good for the most part and kept getting better all day.

Yesterday didn't suck. Cruised up after a lesiurely morning and still get Entry 1.

Not even going to try today, looks like the LCC line goes all they way back to the dog park. Another mid week storm cycle for next week though!

Just got an email back from Matt that he isn't accepting any new appointments as of March 1st this year. I have an appointment with Brent but not until the 17th. Tough to get into the folks that know what they're doing.

Yeah that happens at some point every year. He frequently takes his family on the road for the summer at the end of the season. I need to remember to make an appointment for the fall for some new boots. I’ve never had anyone solve my problems so fast. Usually I have to keep going back again and again. A few years ago Matt go me into 92 last race plugs in two sessions and I’m still in them.

Oh and you're right it is Brent at PC Ski Boot, not Brett. I've gone there before when I Matt wasn't available and they're good. Difference is the place is always full of people, which speaks to the good work, but when I've worked with Matt it's one on one, no one else is even in there.

Solid morning at pc yesterday. Got out there at 7:45 expecting a line a few rows deep but ended up grabbing first chair up payday. Led the way down Thaynes and got in a half dozen hero laps before posting up for Jupiter rope drop. Excellent couple of runs before the shitshow arrived. Solid chop busting after that. Shit was wet and got sun affected sticky when the clouds broke for a bit early afternoon. Went down to cottonwood heights last night to crash with some friends in anticipation for a snowbird day. But alas, I was jolted from my sleep in the wee hours feeling like someone was poking around my inner ear with a red hot ice pick. Got in urgent care as soon as they opened and the doc was taken aback when he looked in my ear. Had to write off the bird and am back in pc now with a healthy regiment of pain meds and antibiotics. Only positive is I’ll probably have to ditch my flight home tomorrow until shit starts to clear up. Sent from my iPhone using TGR Forums

Great day at the Bird today to cap off a week of 4+ feet of snow. Thanks to TFW for the generous hospitality, canyon road, and rope drop strategies

Baby Bear, JH seems like a long shot, but maybe late March/early April.
