Finally checked the Pipeline box. Was a party, but skied around the downclimb and snaked at least a dozen people so it wasn't too hammered yet. Nice turns in the apron.

Hugehairdog had one of his best ski days ever. I ain’t gonna lie, I was pretty proud of him checking that box. Main and Pipeline in the same day was pretty epic.

Beyond stoked, that’s my kid and the St Martin kid. Redbullit69 hasn’t been around here in a while, but his kid still rocks. We usually pick him up every weekend.

    Kids rule.

I think the forum ate my photo--trying again, maybe this one works!

This was the favorite of the shots I took.

Anyways, fun time. Y'all live in a cool place.

If anyone has a parking pass for Franks 4/20 they’re not gonna use, my daughter is looking for one. Lemme know.

    Nice chicken suit.

Congrats on checking it off your list. But you skiing around the down climb caused patrol to close twins access yesterday and today.

    1. They only opened the gate for an hour. It had already closed by the time I clicked in.

    2. I'm not talking about the tracks visible in Bob's photo where someone stepped out onto Germicide. That shit was uncool. All I did was hop a little 3-footer to the side of the spot where people walk through the rock band, and I wasn't the first or probably even the fifth one to do that.

I know the guy who skied the far lookers right tracks on the spine, bragged about it on IG, was thinking those seemed questionable.

Patroller I talked to said they didn’t open it today due to people skiing around the lineup causing a hazard and the jabroni who skied the spine.

Not at all what I’m trying to say. Just want people to know what is ok and not ok so access can stay open. I could care less about pipeline, unless they’re allowing access to germicide to. But it’s nice to have access from that side as well as gad for corn skiing, which is way more important

You can see in the photo that he sluffed out a big area that slid all the way down to the traverse tracks below the cliff.

Noted, thanks. They didn't say anything about that during check in and I certainly would not have done so if they had. Felt pretty innocuous at the time, but I could see it not being so as more people stacked up at the top.

First time there has been a line from the ridge to the downclimb.
Some of the younger trollers say dont open it on a weekend. The older ones do not have that opinion.
They were chattin bout a mass casualty event if someone took out some of that line up...
Love to see conditions not slide for life, and not avalanchy.

FWIW, today Snowbird enthusiastically reposted somebody's Pipeline video where they skied past the downclimb.
