I’m not sure that’s true as far as the cap is concerned. Not saying you’re wrong but have a source?

    https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...chilles-injury

"The Browns bought an insurance policy for Watson's contract and received cap relief for 2024 after he missed 11 games due to injury in 2023. If his injury forces him to miss games in 2025, Cleveland could get additional relief.

According to a copy of Watson's contract obtained by ESPN, the Browns have up to $13.9 million of Watson's 2024 salary insured and up to $44.2 million of his 2025 salary insured."

So the Browns will take QB with their first 1st round pick in years and who's on top of that list? Oh yeah, Shadeur Sanders.

Great, another OBJ with his dad looming in the wings putting out videos of how bad everyone else on the team is at their jobs when things don't go 100% in Shadeur's favor. That's super neat, it's like Lavar Ball but with football and a bigger audience.

ETA: Stefanski has now given up play calling to Dorsey for the season. Good, Dorsey is expendable in case this doesn't work out with Jameis.

“I’ve seen that man show intentional leadership by taking mental reps, like he’s still one of the best players in the game”

Browns rally to beat the Ravens today in what had to be for long-time voice of the Browns, Jimmy Donovan, who passed away yesterday from cancer that he had beaten last year.

Didn’t see it as I was coaching my son’s soccer team in the league championship, but I bet Jimmy was looking down and smiling.

I'm honestly kind of pissed at the browns right now, because Harbaugh is going to lay in to the team and light a fire under their ass, and the ravens will then destroy the donkeys next week.

From what I saw last night, every interview he gave yesterday delivered.

    Eat those dubs, Jameis.

"Represent the name on your helmet... well, we ain't got no decal" - pregame hype speech from Jameis.

Psst, it says "Cleveland" on the back of every helmet.

I had no idea Jameis was such a fountain of quotes. Someone should mic him up for the rest of the season.

Interesting stat heard on today's Browns Therapy Monday:

The 1999 expansion team Browns posted 20 or more points 4 times.

The 1 and 15 2016 Browns accomplished that feat a whopping 7 times.

The 0 and 16 2017 Browns were able to do that 4 times.

The 2024 Browns, with their $300M payroll, have only managed to post 20 or more points once. That's it.

We are entering new levels of "historically bad" that I didn't think possible.

I'm glad I spent the weekend camping and not watching garbage football, but it sure is neat to see what new lows they manage to find each Monday morning.

    right on cue.

turns out having a practice squad guy starting at left tackle is in fact a major liability.

So Cleveland looked pretty good when up by 12 points and holding Pittsburgh to only 2 field goals. Pittsburgh had not scored a touchdown in 7 quarters, but did still manage to win last week with only kicking field goals. Since then, it has been Cleveland miscues and Pittsburgh scores for a lead.
