Thats pretty much the deal right there, I assume. If the Browns take him hell be a career backup. If they dont hell be a great starter for an AFC rival.

It is as it always is.

LOL, this is my thinking as well.

The crazy shit is, since the Giants traded back into the 1st to take Dart (who I wanted to study under Flacco this year in CLE) that means that the Brownies will have the shot at taking Shadeur with the 1st pick of the 2nd round tomorrow (and ruin his promise, no doubt).

What a fucking HAUL the Browns got from JAX for that #2 pick: this year's #5 overall, this year's #36 overall (3 picks behind when they take Sanders), swap 4th rounders, AND the Jags' 1st rounder next year - which should be great since they suck ass.

    Go Browns!

The Browns resisting the Sanders circus is not a development I would have anticipated.

Went into the draft with the ability to get Travis and Shedeur. Some of the best talent in this years draft. We pass on Hunter for draft picks and pass on Sanders all the way up to the 5th round. Then we trade up to pick him.
This Cleveland front office / Berry/ Stefanski / Haslm completely baffles me. I don't know what they were thinking.

What is the word on the street? Are Clevelanders happy / disappointed/ pissed??
What does Mary Kay Cabot have to say about all this?

23 year old Sanders gets a 101 mph speeding ticket.

23 year old LeBron also got a 101 mph speeding ticket.

Act like the job you want, not the job you have.

i really thought the texans were going to give the browns a run for their money on being the most pathetic nfl franchise but the texans finally got a good coach and decent gm, the browns drafts keep looking like they are made by a sixth grader

Sanders has had 2 speeding tickets now in the short time he has been in Ohio. 101 in a 60 is the most recent. He had a 91 MPH in a 65 MPH earlier this month.

What do the browns experts predict will become of the qb competition heading into the season?

Flacco will start week 1. Pickett, if not traded or cut by week 1 will be QB2, with Gabriel then Sanders behind him. I can see them trading Flacco first just because his long term outlook is the shortest among all 4. 1 year deal, not likely to be resigned, etc. I love Flacco, but when the arm-punts come out it’s Small Hands Pickett’s show. Then it’s probably Week 5 when we see our first rookie QB. Could be either as of now but the result will be the same. Another Browns loss. Let’s just enjoy the Preseason for now, mmmkay?

You think it takes that long?

This thread could probably host a little over/under action. 4 might be a good spot to open.
