No skin in the game, and I probably watch a Brown's game every couple of decades... but - WHAT A TEAM YOU'VE GOT THERE! There must be a typo in their record though. They've got to be 8 and 3.

Fun game to watch for sure. Winston's performance was outstanding. That blizzard was very CFL-ish.

He's no Mayfield, but I'm starting to really like Winston, the guy. Just look at this quote:

"But I’ve truly embraced this city. I love the hard-nosed (mindset). I love the beautiful trees, three months out of the year."

The "three months out of the year" bit is killing me.

Jameis is not Baker for sure (and trust me I can't help to think what could have been every time I see Baker this year), but he's exactly the antidote for Watson right now with his personality and attitude.

There's a video of him taking an Uber Black with his family to Swenson's (iconic NE OH drive-in burger joint for the uninitiated) the other week, and the childhood joy and amazement he shows at the fact they put a tray on your car window and you eat off it was just heartwarming.

Nick Chubb, heart and soul of the team and all around complete class act, fights back from a full knee destruction 14 months ago just to get back on the field this year only to suffer a broken foot in todays loss to the Chiefs.

Bubble wrap Myles Garrett, Denzel Ward, and Jerry Jeudy and tank for the draft already fellas.

    FFS.

Jameis Experience over in Cleveland with DTR (or God forbid, Bailey Zappe) getting the start in Cincy this weekend?

I hope they keep Jameis around; if anything for the soundbites he provides and unrelenting optimism that help you forget how trading for Deshaun Watson took the best things this organization had going for it since 1999, drowned it all in Lake Erie then lit a mountain of cash on fire to celebrate.

    It's time for DTR.

I mean it's also time to do Sunday fifths, but it's time for DTR.

The hits just keep on coming, it's QB40 time in Cleveland!

With the announcement that Bailey Zappe (yes, that Bailey Zappe) will be the named starter for this week's season finale, the Browns have now started 40 different starting QBs since their return to the league in 1999, an incredible accomplishment.

Godspeed Mr. Zappe, I wish I could say you're the last name on the jersey but we all know you just keep watch over it for the next guy.

It's nice to see the QB3 trying to get the franchise WR killed.

    Right?

    Little higher there Zappe. FFS.

Let’s get DPoY Garrett that league leading sack and call it a day.

Damn. I hope that doesn’t mean we get stuck with Zappe.

Top three pick locked up. Perfect for selecting either Ward or Sanders as a third round talent in the top three first round choices.

I’d have to check the rule book but yeah, I think it’s Zappe’s team from here on out till they fold the franchise.

And isn’t that the truth about how they’ll use that pick.

That or they’ll trade back into the 2027 draft in order to go after some kid the man behind the curtain, Paul DiPodesta (who somehow lives in San Diego and not Cleveland yet still has a leading role in the front office), thinks is the next Eli Manning.

Strong message firing the OC the day after the season ending game. That should fix things.

Did Dorsey engineer the franchise-crippling Watson trade?

If so, that should fix everything.

Now it looks like Deshaun is potentially unlikely to return in 2025 due to a setback in his Achilles recovery. Maybe Aaron Rodgers is available for a year while Watson returns to peak form for the final year(?) of his contract.

Stick a fork in the DW era. Time to sweep up the mess and move on to the next victim.
