And Ukraine has/had non military Saab 340 aircraft. they have crews that are capable of flying them. Obviously some more training but not starting from zip.

Excellent article. Really good in-depth explanation of why the combo of the Saab AWACS datalinked to the F-16 is going to be a huge game changer.

Guarantee this is not some spur of the moment deal, I bet this has been in the works ever since we began training the Ukraine F-16 crews.

Also to note the overall outstanding military reporting by Daily Kos, a blog that openly and proudly calls itself Liberal. Throughout this war Daily Kos has consistently provided top notch information. Their founder, Kos, was an enlisted HIMARS crewman in the US Army and his son is an enlisted Army Ranger on active duty. Kinda funny when the right tries to claim the left is anti-military.

This latest neocon tangent is a transparent ploy to get around the now shopworn & debunked circular talking point over Russia threatening to launch nukes if the Wests helps Ukraine -->> The West waits 6 months and then helps Ukraine -->> MAGAs try to induce panic over Russia launching nukes -->> Russia doesn't launch the nukes. Ukraine is now hitting Russian targets inside Belgorod Russia and still no WWIII.
