Annie in the Water is upstate AF. Dudes, or at least one of them, is from Watertown and used to play house parties at SUNY Potsdam when I was there in the mid 2000s. Cool to see they're still doing it.

This guy was mentioned upthread. He's back in the news: https://www.wcax.com/2023/08/10/off-...g-ny-gunfight/

It's called the Upstates, not the Wild West. No shoot out at the KO corral, please.

Well, being from Rutland, he probably thought Saratoga and NYC were the same place so naturally he was a little jumpy.

"he went out for a night of drinking with nothing but a loaded gun and a police badge"

    Seems Upstatesish?

Well sure. I mean there are probably plenty of upstate dudes doing that who aren’t even cops.

The badge makes up for the lack of pants.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I find the inclusion of that sentence in the news story a little bizarre. I mean he obviously had his wallet and some money so on that level, it’s untrue. And what should he have brought for a night out on the town? Breath mints? Extra socks? Wet naps?
