Watching clips from Russian TV today was straight Orwellian. Claiming they were bombing Ukrainian media to combat “psychological terror.”

I agree with some posters from earlier today. We don’t want a war with Russia, pretty clear that Putin is completely unhinged.

The sacrifices by Americans as a result of increased sanctions on Russia are a drop in the bucket compared to missiles flying. The crazy thing is that if this escalates to the point of US military involvement, the possibility of us getting nuked isn’t even that far fetched. I’d personally much rather pay $10/gal for gas.

Our best bet is to crush Russia with sanctions severe enough to start a revolution from within. Putin becoming pink mist at the hands of one of his own is pretty real at this point, I think. Truly heartbreaking to watch the situation in Ukraine unfolding in real time.
