His actions are admirable, I'm just curious how it's all working, given there have been a few posts of ex-operators/SOF/etc., joining the fight. Wishing him luck.

Totally self financed. Same with a couple of others I expect might go. These are all guys from 10rh SFG that have been training the Ukrainian military for the past few years. It will be pretty easy for them to integrate right in with the units they used to train.

My buddy plans to go back to continue training, advise on operational planning and help fight as needed. This is a traditional GB mission and he is fluent in Russian/Ukrainian.
