Totally self financed. Same with a couple of others I expect might go. These are all guys from 10rh SFG that have been training the Ukrainian military for the past few years. It will be pretty easy for them to integrate right in with the units they used to train.

My buddy plans to go back to continue training, advise on operational planning and help fight as needed. This is a traditional GB mission and he is fluent in Russian/Ukrainian.

While we all watch this the USA moves a large offensive force into turkey and southern Iraq. Attacks Syrian and Russian forces head on justification?

    Ukraine!! Russia bad.

Have not read that anywhere but let’s just watch and see

    MF -

W and Barack both opposed the Russian gas projects vehemently. 20 years of America leaning on Merckel just didn't have any effect.

Was trying to figure out how to donate to Ukraine. Came across this

    https://donate.redcross.ca/page/1002...1?locale=en-CA

It's basically a portal to donate via the Red Cross of Canada. That Red Cross will then relay to the Ukrainian Red Cross. Donations up to $ 10M will be matched by the Govt of Canada (that 10M goal was met)

Yeah, but, defense is easier than offense in urban warfare. Especially back then.

Local cooker theory doing the rounds is there are child clone facilities all over Ukraine and Putin is saving the children (and therefore breaking up the dEeP sTaTe pEdO rInGs) by bombing the facilities and taking over Ukraine to stop the whole thing, so guess that means Putin is saving the children by bombing them.

Ignore Benny, I'd bet meathelmet is one of the more qualified people on here to talk about what's going on.

Unless Hawk wanted to post again[emoji867]

What the fuck? I never met him, but who is Meathelmet, and why are you loving that shit? It's bizarre war nerdism. What does he know? Is he talking to Putin? Russian generals? How the fuck do people have the balls to go on about shit like that from a phone in nice, safe, American middle class land? I'll admit I got the initial propoganda angle from both sides wrong, but, that's backed by thirty years of lies from our side. I didn't see Putin going full retard, but, hey, who can predict the future. But this war nerdism is sick shit. I mean, in the 24 hours a day we have, THAT is what somebody gets all expert on? Who is this Meathelmet, a CIA top dude? If not, perverse.

There are a lot of stuff around in various forums/articles/publications, but translating from different languages takes its time and can be inaccurate so will not bother with that.
Janes has a really nice writeup but I only have paper copy. Will try to scan in

I don’t think they were prepared. And after 8 yrs of war, and Biden begging Zelensky there is little excuse.

Why? It’s a little early to be handing out instructions on how to make a moltov cocktail.

What happened to the hand grenades and rpg -7’s? Rifles will do squat.

Not that I support a Stalingrad type fight with civilians in the first place. Real easy for us to cheer that on.

Holy fuck, even by the standards of his decrepit brain this is amazing. He literally accuses whoever it is of doing what he did himself and was being criticized for. Emphasize: How the fuck do people have the balls to go on about shit like that from a phone in nice, safe, American middle class land? Unbelievable. Talk about balls--or just hypocrisy. The major difference, of course, is Benny is wrong consistently but that guy is likely right.

Also note he refers to a propaganda angle from 'both' sides...kind of sad when reality starts to get away from someone like this, because I swear ten or fifteen years ago the guy wasn't as challenged.
