More parking opening on Monday at Bachelor per the email I received today.

More 'Advance Day' Parking Available — Starting Monday, December 21 at 6:00 p.m we will release additional inventory for 28 days (4 weeks) out, so you can plan ahead! We will follow this cadence each Monday at 6:00 p.m. by adding one additional week of inventory to the previously released three weeks. Each Monday we'll release inventory for the 28 days ahead.

    2. Continuous Rolling Inventory — What does this mean? As we approach any given ski day we will release additional parking inventory, as early as a few days prior up until the morning of your intended ski day, based on weather, wind, terrain footprint and a handful of other variables that will affect skier volume at the mountain. If we are open from Cloudchaser to Northwest and lifts are running at full speed, we will be able to host more guests (more availability) while still enabling proper physical distancing across the resort.

I was checking to see if any mud/trees/rocks came down on 126 today and saw this, heh. I actually saw on a Facebook group that some poor saps from the Valley were thinking about heading up to ski Hoodoo today, lol! Willamette had the good sense to close and not have to worry about patrolling their slide zones.

Any PDX mags have a 3.6 x 9mm drill bit I can borrow? I need to mount a pair of skis for my sister but don't have my tools at my disposal right now. I can pick it up and return it within 24 hours and will compensate with a 6er of your choosing.

Ok, the skis were alittle skinny for the conditions. I stayed on the firm pack mostly.

Maybe he went old school at was rocking some 1980's vintage long boards?

Fingers crossed for a white Christmas in Central Oregon. It's crazy that the thermometer hit 55F this afternoon.

Managed to snag 3 more weekend days at Bachelor. Two for January and 1 for February. Looks like reservations slots vaporized quickly.

Yup the Mt. bachelor parking saga continues.

Mgt announced yesterday they would release a bunch of additional parking at 6pm today.

At 5:50pm, the Parkwhiz app added a requirement to have a credit card on file to book FREE fucking reservations.

The app also built in MtB rules - can reserve each of the next seven days but only seven more from day 8 to end of season. After that you get a “can’t complete the transaction” frame.

And they consider 6pm today as day one not day zero, so next Monday is the eighth day from today.

So much for the “reserve 14 days in advance!”

And by 6:25 only the 8th and 10th are still open in January.

Let’s see how next week goes...
