Great day today, sorry i didn’t get to link up with the crew on the mountain today. Bell to bell for my group, navigated crowds and only had one real lift line today. skied great snow all day.

First time skiing this place in winter... daaaammn good tree skiing and I was told the best lift for that isn’t spinning yet [emoji33]

Time for more than a couple beers to rest my tired legs and figure out when I’m coming back...

    Nay, I'm a Jeffery/Kartel lover since the first proto's.

    Jeffery 108's already in hand.

I was surrounded by ON3Ps & S7s (the pinnacle of design & performance). I was almost traumatized by the awesomeness and girth. Alas my puny 74mm/14m felt so inadequate.

You seemed to do ok. I have resigned myself to the fact I will never carve that smoothly.

You are much more manly than me. Your carvers will accelerate the process. Funday thanks.

I’m sorry you felt inadequate - there is an explanation for your feelings though.

“For many women, the only size that matters "is usually the girth," Veale wrote in an email. “

Well that was informative. Especially the part about normal size. That must be demoralizing. I'm going with length and big angles on this.

Glad you had fun mang. Your idea of midweek lines is different than mine, but I will stipulate that I’m spoiled here...

I just had a great discussion with the Environmental Health and Services Director at Tflat. He was awesome and said that he and the lifts director have been discussing covid protocols and how to adjust and move forward. They both were pissed about the maskless dbags dismissing the mask rules. One thing he said that really made me think was that... most ski industry people were shocked the Governor let ski areas stay open.

Stars might be aligning that I can play hooky on Thursday. Is anyone up for spinning some laps at MHM?

Thank you for having that discussion. The maskless idiots are the ones that run the potential to take all this away from us again (aka like Europe). My wife made a great point about the “majority” of those that seem to refuse keeping the mask pulled up: “doesn’t it seem like those same people are the ones that originally wore masks to cover their faces in the first place, because it was cool and anonymous? Why are they pulling them down now?”

Used my last seasons "bonus ticket" today, it expired on the 20th. The friend I took up made the call. Raining top to bottom. Turns were delicious cream cheese, hardened up a little. 6 runs in 1:20 minutes and we were soaked. #firstworldproblems

Any Bachy patrons have a sense for parking opening up last minute? Trying to snag a Thursday. Just keep checking back on a regular basis, and pray/cross fingers, sacrifice a squirrel to Ullr?

I snagged a last minute parking spot for today at 730am, and a friend of mine snagged a last minute spot for yesterday around the same time, so it does happen.

Kind of a different situation - mostly due to house parties - but definitely a reminder not to get too up close and friendly with that liftie who's bumpin your lift seats!

The spread of the disease in the mountain community is mostly due to shared housing and people socializing with one another, health officials said Tuesday in a statement.

"Large households and social gatherings appear to be responsible for much of the COVID-19 transmissions related to this cluster," the statement reads.
... Resort management at Big White said it called upon health officials to conduct testing on site because of concerns of COVID-19 spread at a number of well-attended parties hosted by resort staff.
