Rolled into hrm at 815 or so, plenty of space left. I didn’t ski the resort but went for a walk instead. Lotsa soft and deep. Got back to hrm around 1pm and the lot was half full. Surprised at how few people were in the lots.

    Tuesday looks great
Sunny, low wind & the whole hill will be open
& all of portland metro will be there!

we did early load on HRM & skied til 1p; lift lines were actually reasonable today
we drive early to avoid parking issues.

[we came down at 2p, and there was a [uphill] two lane crawl from the the hole shot at Rhodie all the way down to the fire station in welches...sooo many day trippers. All the snow parks were JAMMED]

Do those burn areas look skiable, or what?

The real question is what kind of access to lookout is fortress using? My guess is a brapmobile to drop into the top, or is there secret access through the low snow jungle at the bottom?

Also the white river snow park was a hilarious mess to behold on the way home, I’m sure it was a huge pain if you were trying to get afternoon turns.

    Wow! Perfect pitch...

I suspect you'd have to climb back up to your sled at the end of the day.

Just give it a push and hope it doesn't hit anything on the way down.

I think I may have been in the vicinity of Fortrees, but didn’t see him out there, didn’t see anybody in our little spot...

Hit pea gravel vicinity today, along with the hordes. Should have opted for the opposite side of 35.

Was a beautiful day full of light snow and zero wind. Looking forward to a refresh.

Reservations open up again for the MtB parking lottery at 6pm today.

Interesting, every reservation I have had has been a day with new snow. As info, I made a reservation the first day it was possible back in November and one of those advance days is for this Wednesday, and it appears my streak of fresh powder days continues. That is all.

yes that is my main haunt. bunch of days there already this season. been busy with family stuff past couple days but I was up on the 24th and it was great and it was also total ghost town with no waiting in lines the entire day. More family stuff this week so of course it look like some snow will be falling. lots of winter to look forward to

Isn’t there enough snow at 4.5K to bring the cat in and push some snow around and build a few snow-bridges and open uyp the heather?
Are we getting close… maybe after one more storm?

I think that 6 inches of rain over a week ago set it back some. I bet at around 75" base at lodge level heather will open
