No nickname, just fuckin with ya for changing your moniker every 2 months!
Not sayin they made it because of you, I'm sayin a 5 ski production run might not have happened without your not letting the fact there was not a longer ski go. Not sure ON3P made this ski to ever see a production run.

It would be pretty fuckin' rad if some quality ski maker started doing a sort of Group Made To Order (GTMO) thing on their website. Show a rendering of would be ski, layup, specs, etc. Put a price on it that is fair to both buyer and producer. If people want it, they put their money where their mouth is, and await the ski to go into production. If not enough orders happen within a time frame to make the ski viable, customers get their dollars back.

Works sorta like this -- https://www.meermin.es/in_en/mto.html/

That would be really sick! But probably not cost effective for ON3P—esp. with other custom ski builders doing the full-custom thing (Wagner, etc). Their bread and butter is the NS jibber kid crowd: the 176 and 181 Magnus, Kartel 98 & 108 probably sell more than the rest of their skis combined.

This probably will never get made, but I'll throw it out there anyway: a 186 Kartel 108 with a 28 m turn radius. Slightly less taper and a more-even flex pattern compared to the current Kartel—core milled thicker in the tip and tail but not underfoot. Woodgrain topsheet. Maybe sidecut centered at -5.5 instead of -4.25. Maybe 110 underfoot to make up for the smaller tip.

They already made the SG for a team guy, so that would have been the time to make 10 pairs when the mold was in place and test the market.

Bottom line is they have not been interested in expanding their ski line in that direction, and they know much more about their own business than we do.

I was on the early train for getting back to big brother BG dimensions, but a new wren 114 might be a better platform for hate banging the mountain.

He must be getting in shape. Careful woody, you get in too good of shape and you'll be selling everything and and buying 170cm skis.

I'm okay with this as long as ACH is still in for the SG group buy.

I'm finding reviews of the Jessie hard to come by. Can any Jessie owners chip in with their thoughts/reviews? Thinking about this ski for my wife who is a progressing intermediate skier, physically strong and needs something with decent stability on groomers that she can shut down easily. Also looking for decent float as she learns to ski pow and can handle Whistler chop.

    my 12yo boy is on a 161 jessie 98 -- he's just over 100 pounds & just over 5'
it seems to be a great combo ski for him: enough float for not-quite-full-on pow days and still manages the multifarious conditions we get after 10a here in the PNW
