Unfortunately - No dealers in Whistler or Vancouver - and no plans to. I'm sure a few people have noticed our dealer network has gotten a lot smaller/more focused - that pattern isn't going to change.

As for demos, no plans for Whistler right now. It is always on our radar for WSI, but the hold up always comes down to the associated legal costs of getting liability insurance to demo in Canada. Right now, no shortage of US stops so not sure when we will be up there next. Sorry! We have a few ideas with the future that might make this more feasible, but some pretty big legal/logistical hurtles we need to cross first to get there.

Yeah we sold about 40% of our stock overnight, but I said above...small run and we haven't had shirts in awhile so we expected a bit of a rush. I am sure moving forward it will slow down quite a bit - frankly just dumb that I've put it off for so long.

The last time we did soft goods it went pretty poorly, so made it pretty easy to put it out of my mind for awhile.

Funny timing, but I am actually working on a Cease and Desist (2018 Asym and Offset) product clip right now that was done by our Athlete, Rex late last Spring.

CD = Deep snow, fast, big lines, spines, but planing on top
BG = All those things, but more down "in it"

There have been a handful of days where I was undergunned on my 189/191 BG and really wish I had my CD, especially to plane on top of snow in flatter sections and when it literally was 100" in 10 days and untouched (Monarch, CO last year).

I feel the CD actually makes more sense in lighter, more blower type snow that is super deep vs coastal snow where 70" and 10" skis the same. When you are up to your balls in pow and if you stop you sink, the CD is a better option.

When will the clip be ready? I would love to see more C&D stoke

I'm wondering whether the 108 and 116 have too much overlap? I'd want the 108 to be my all mountain ski to still have a rad time on firm days when it hasn't snowed in a while but you still want to run out a 360 through moguls, and it seems that 108 may be too wide for that? I also feel that the Kartel 98 may be too park oriented for what I'm looking for, as I have a dedicated park ski already (Filthy Rich). Any other skis I should consider over the 108 and 116, like Pettitors, Marksman, Armada TST evoairs, ARV 106's, Benchetlers, Moments, Faction 3.0's, Salomon Rocker 100's?

But I take Billy Goats into the park and ski in some heavy PNW snow where I think a bigger ski is an advantage most of the time.

My move here:

Sell the FR.
Obtain Kartel 98 and 116.

No need to look at the other brands you listed. They likely wouldn't get used much with ON3Ps in the stable.

Take the Faction 3.0 off your list. I am totally aware some people love them, but they are horrid to ski. Seems like you either love them or hate them with no middle ground. Too risky if you cant demo while you have a heap of (in my opinion) better skis on that list. Can't go wrong with ON3P really. I ordered the Wren in 98 and 108 for the same reasons you're asking about.

Im sure you'll be able to 3 a 108 off moguls... I haven't skied the Kartels but I hear they're pretty snappy, anyway you get the point.

I think you'll be fine with the k108, I wasn't throwing 360's, but I skied it in a variety of conditions at Alta last spring and it was primo. Perfectly do it all ski that was still playful.

I currently have the Moment Meridian (107) and the Bibby (118). I like the Meridians, a lot, but Demo’d the K108 last Spring and Loved it! Wouldn’t trade the Bibby for Anything, but I would prob trade the Meridian for the Kartel. That would be a sick quiver of 2.
I used to have the TST and loved it, but have heard mixed (read negative) reviews on the evoair (too soft, folds up), it was already a lite soft ski?

To be super clear, I'm imagining getting the Kartel 116 as a dedicated pow/day after pow ski, and the Kartel 108 as a ski that can jib and throw tricks but also perform and ski fast in firm conditions. I'd describe my skiing as more chargy than surfy, if that helps. So, I'm looking for two pairs of skis. I'm 5'9 150lbs fit and I imagine I'd get these boards in a 181. I have tried posting a longer message in this thread, but for some reason TGR wouldn't let me

Sweet! Did you get a chance to rip the K108 on firmer conditions? Could the ski still perform alright, or were you wishing it was a little bit narrower? Also, do you ever feel like in your quiver of Moments that you have too much overlap? I have read that about the TST evoairs as well, but their price is great right now and the ski specs seem to be in range. How'd your TST compare to the K108's you demoed? Aren't the TST's more directional?

Sick to hear about the K116! It seems like that is a no brainer. Have you had a chance to try out the K98 vs the K108? I've read around that the K98 are more of a park ski with a different flex than the K108. Do they have the stiffness to hold on in firm all mountain conditions? I wish there was a K103

And honestly, I dont jib hard enough for the 191. I would probably prefer the 186 for messin’ around.

I definitely am going to try to demo the Kartel lineup this season though.

Where do you ski? If it’s West, I wouldn’t consider less than the k108, great on west coast firm (never had it on EC boilerplate) the TST was great on EC and on western groomers, and a few of fresh. If you are “chargy” then you should consid r the Moment Bibby for Pow, amazing ski, the k108 will be good for firm snow, great for western groomers and a few inches of fresh. Jibby, poppy, yet firm underfoot

I'm 100% spin/flip/jib-free ... but my 2-ski ON3P quiver would be a Wren 108 and Billy Goat.

For all you've said, maybe look at the Wren 108 and Kartel 116?

There once was - the Jeronimo. 102mm underfoot. A beloved ski.

I rode a K98 in a 186. Super fun do it all ski. I'm a beacon of mediocrity in the park, so My preferences might not be yours, but I wouldn't go any thinner underfoot than 98mm. Which is why I could see it replacing the FR.

Good friend is on the k108 as his DD. No park for him. He loves them. But he wastes less time on TGR than I do.

TSTs are fairly directional, yes. More than the Kartels. If you're used to the burly On3p layup, I doubt you'll enjoy the evo airs. Unless you're touring only on them, and even then, prob not.

Overall, quite silly of me to recommend an efficient quiver. It's TGR.

FR/K108/116 would make for a great quiver.

FR for park only.
K108 daily.
K116 for new snow

As I mentioned over at NS. I have done the K108/116 2 ski quiver......it's a titties combo. My 116 was 186cm while I chose the 181cm for the 108. They overlap, but in a good wayI never felt like I brought too wide a ski or too skinny of a ski for the conditions.

Take note I live in the Southern Hemisphere, so our conditions are way different. Somewhat similar to your EC though. I also own Billy Goats but we dont get enough snow, it's for Japow and US/Canada trips.

The 98 is for inbetween storms. 108 is for stoms and the days/weeks after till it firms up again.

If I lived in the PNW I would daily a 108 and use the BG when its fresh. It's all dependent on where and what you ski. This suits me, it might not suit you.
