Also consider, I'm not in a free state (MA) so rifles like this command a premium. I did figure out how to search completed auctions on gunbroker so I've been perusing those. Seems like a pretty wide range, from 900 all the way up to $3000+
You can still own firearms in MA?

    CRAP. He has awesome stuff.

This group needs to be caught, I don't know why its not on the news more. The ATF should have their asses handed to them for how little they have done about this. 65 guns aren't easy to run off with and this is what the 25th break in this year in Denver/Co Springs?

I had a mab pa15 (rare french hi cap 9mm )stolen from the sort facility in the Denver USPS. The ATF and post office went out of their way to keep me from reporting the theft. Even with the numbers gone there are maybe 100 in the US and they couldn't care less.

    Uh, yeah. Sort of.

You just have to jump through a bunch of hoops, accept not being able to own any gun on the market, and also accept the risk of legal trouble with gray area "pre ban" rifles/magazines...

Handied and fired the New Gen5 glock 19&17 Saturday. Looked like a glock, smelled like a Glock, fired like a glock. Front end of slide is serrated, and has a new taper design. Glock 43 style trigger, no finger grooves, flared mag well, and a cut out to remove a stuck mag. Not that impressive in the end. I was hoping the would just release a Glock 44 or something new...

It would still be a glock

I just got a Leo trade in, g22 gen 4 for 349, not a scratch on it. With night sights that burn bright.

I like the 40 s&w. Picked up a case of fmj for 11 bucks a box and Leo hollow points for 15.

A case? Like a 1000 rounds? Or do you mean a box?

    What brand?
I think 40 ammo is overpriced... but that's not bad. PMC bronze is like $18 a box for 40.

Decided after shooting that my aging eyes need the PA 1-6 scope on a RS Regulate side rail mount.

Anyone play with the new HKVP9 SK yet? Looked at one over the weekend, as well as a P30 SK Similar platforms, one striker fired, one hammer fired.

Yes, I have shot the full size and k versions of both.

I own a P30 SK and a P30. I like full size stuff and hammers. Some people like striker fire and compacts. I like metal frames too but they were a good deal at the time. I don't shoot the p30 sk much but the full size I take out once a month and dig it more than the vp9. I like the vp over the sig p320 but they all rock.

I have seen the p30 with ramp sites and hook sites like these. I think the hooks are way better. Very solid and if you don't have one in the hole, you can rack it one handed on your belt. Mine doesn't have the safety like that one, I think you are better off not firing a round than letting one go but that's me.

Whatever you pick, I would still empty it on the range for you.

Just grabbed the vp9 tactical from PSA. 549 plus 4 free magazines was too much to pass up.
Now looking for a owb holster for it.
Not having much luck finding a holster made for the threaded barrel.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Well, have a full size VP9 in OD en route. Got the LE model, with night sights and three mags. Qualifies me for 4 more mags as well. Out the door from Gordon at www.hkspecialist.net for $519 plus $25 for shipping.

Will see how I like the trigger and make a decision on an SK from there. Kiddo liked the trigger in the VP9 SK, but being a small handed lefty, the P30 SK had a slightly larger slide release on the right side that worked better for her.

Gordon Miller at HK Specialist is a great dealer. Great prices, quick shipping. Used him many times.

PSA: Sig AR mags for $5

They're new to the market (afaik) and I've never tested one so I have no idea how good/bad they are.

Well you might have to worry about it going off if you drop one!
