Missed s&s #9 my 30 minutes. I'm hour fifteen from HF. If I see double CITRA, S&S #5, or Abner on draft I'll drop everything. Double galaxy is up there as well

Oh my bad, Long Island is known for Joey Buttafuco and a shitty high alcohol beverage called Iced Tea.
    Am I missing anything?

Not sure I've had #9 but #5 is another fav. Abner is on tap downtown/Winooski fairly regularly lately as is Harlan. It's only an hour and a half for me, not sure I why I haven't been in 2yrs+ but 2x Citra would almost certainly get me there...along with10k others that day.

Possibly because I had been drinking on it for awhile before taking a pic? West is best son. Better yet, it's dumping feets of snow in our mtns so will be taking a lap shortly, thx. [emoji1]

That's a good read. Nothing beats the the mouthfeel of a juicy NE IPA.
I just grabbed a four of Lost Nation Galaxy. I love hazy, juicy beer!

Great article, plus a shout out to a few CO breweries putting out NEIPAs. Forgot Weldwerks though. Their Juicy Bits is up there with Tree House.

Shredgnar - You need to brew one!

Yeah, fitting it in with other stuff. Gimme a month or two. We've done a few that were close but none that were full-on NE style. Got a nice Spruce tip DIPA coming out soon- Christmas Tree in a Glass.

Filled my growler with Melvin IPA at Hoodland Thriftway on my way home from Timberline last night. Fills are $2 off on Tuesday BTW. Was so wiped out from skiing pow I just put it in the fridge and went to bed. The taste I had at the store was great. Looking forward to drinking it tonight.

Did Melvin ever open up a brewery in Bellingham, WA? Heard they were going to then haven't heard much else since.

They were pouring that at GABF. Tasty. Another great one is Cerebral's DDH Rare Trait (on tap right now). Speaking of extra dry hopping, Comrade's triple dry hopped Superpower (More Dodge Less Ram) is very good. Reminds me of their Superpower before they took Amarillo out of their hop bill.

Shredgnar - Looking forward to drying that DIPA.

Just realized after talking to a buddy that I had the DDH version when we went up there a few weeks back. But they were only selling crowlers of the regular Juicy Bits then.

I was at Cerebral back in the spring and had Rare Trait. Highly drinkable.

Drove back to the midwest over Thanksgiving and brought back some Bell's Two Hearted, Half Acre Gone Away and Daisy Cutter, and Founder's All Day session IPA.
