Citradamus and Asterisk are the two best hoppy beers canned in the Rockies.... Not a doubt in my mind. Straight saturated hop flavor, balanced bitterness and just enough malt for backbone. These guys are firing on all cylinders at the big Brewery now. Seek them out!

Just came in to mention Citradamus. Damn good and smooth as can be for 9.5%.

Pretty impressive SMASH IPA (Yellow Rose) from Lone Pint in Texas.
Workers Are Going Home - another killer DIPA from SingleCut.

Looking forward to cracking one of these.![]()
Is anyone else getting a little burnt out on IPA's? I've been staying away from them lately. Too filling, and the taste has lost some of its appeal.
Gravity. It's the law.
I hear you. Sometimes I buy cheap Mexican beers at Aldi's for a casual weeknight beer. I used to think IPA'S were causing me to get migraines but I have solved that problem with appropriately timed ice coffee on nights I don't work.
Mostly I just drink fewer IPA's though.
Balance through moderation. Like this Modus I am drinking right now. Might be my only beer of the day. I can't get sick of Modus.
I haven't gotten burnt out on West coast IPA's, although they don't seem as hoppy to me anymore. NEIPA's though, I really like 1 or 2, but the amount of yeast and adjuncts consumed cause my belly to want to turn itself inside out sometimes. That said, I have two fermenting right now...
I do switch it up with a fair amount of lagers, sours, and Stouts/Porters though. Gotta keep the palate well exercised through sensory confusion.![]()
Thinking I should just start drinking Guinness for a while again. Or heroin.

And another...interesting flavor profile

Enjoyed one of these nice cans last night. Second time I've bought it. Nothing to extreme. I like the way it looks and tastes.
Beaver Overbite. Damn good IPA
Hmm, there's a Paradox in CO too.

And another Melvin off the charts!
Delicious.
This one's pretty good to split. Nothing too piney or tropical but it's a good beer. You're gonna need a bigger glass is right
