I thought we agreed that Timber a Ridge qualified for the Magic thread. For two or three years it was Magical.

Looks like another powder day on Tuesday. Start lining up your excuses to play hooky!

Been wrestling with this, and the guilt is just too much. Much as I hate (HATE) MMP (don't get me started on what's wrong with the guy), I simply have to get this off my chest. I cheated. Yes, while I believe I could have won fair and square, I just didn't want to suffer the humiliation of losing to a telemarker (and not just any telemarker, but MMP). So I'll admit it--I rigged it. I've kept it a secret for years, but I have an identical twin brother. I had him in the same clothing standing at the BLT before we even got off the chair, and when MMP lost sight of me I just hid behind a tree. I feel great shame at tarnishing the maggot name and sacred ski-off tradition. Next week I will straddle slalom gates allowing them to punish my groinal area as penance, and I make the same promise that Jer did years ago to never post here again. Sayanaro.

I did that before you scolded me.

See page 141 of the ECRC for today's non-Magic shenanigans!!! Stoke is stoke

At least I didn't post a picture yesterday and not tell everyone that it was from the previous Saturday...

I would prefer losing, by far, than live in a world with two of that guy.

Come one. It would be like the most awesomest Wrigley's Doublemint commercial you could possibly imagine.

edit: OK, so how could I have lived through the early 90's and not realized that apparently every man in these commercials was gay? I'll give the Bodega guy at the end a pass, but aside from that...what?

Anyone got a first hand AM report from the 'derry area?

We probably got more snow overnight in CT than we did from last weeks storm. Hoping this storm replaces what that storm was *supposed* to dump in SoVT!

7" at my house right now, and still coming down hard. Hopefully they're getting similar or better numbers there!

Work was just cancelled. Might make the drive up to magic for a few hours skinning. Is it dumping up there? How are the roads?

headed back up tonight barring the unforeseen. If you want first chair, you'll have to beat me to it or be on it with me. If anyone sees Andrew, please ask him to leave RedLine a virgin for me. Thanks.

Reading the 'Powder Day' clause on the website, it appears there is no way to get a discount on a ticket tomorrow. No VT'er break, other pass holder discount, mid week love, nothing! Anyone that spends more time than me there know a way to save a few bucks tomorrow?

I may have been a contender for this if I could see 100%. My eyesight is at about 70% right now, can't see contrast yet, otherwise I'd take a quick lap tomorrow AM. You can all thank me for being hospitalized last week for the storms. On the mend now though, please, please enjoy the snow for me!

Dude you owe that guy a beer for giving you the heads up. I think you might like it.

According to the snow report they seem to prefer snowshoes.

How does one ski on that aforementioned 'AT' gear anyway? I'm confused.
