Hmmm. 195 superBros, 195 superBros, or 195 superBros. Tough decision for you, right?

Been skiing at Magic for 7 years, 5 as a passholder and the water bar from hell got me yesterday. I know one of youse saw it because it was right under the Red Chair. Came out of the woods, my legs were totally rubberized and my plan to jump the waterbar became the clown flip. Double ejection and I didn't care one bit.

Special thanks to DoWork and MMP who, at the top of Mystery Bowl said, go ahead. Also to radam who, on the first run (2nd chair) said, you lead down Red Line and I'll film it.

4-6" tonight should make for a sleeper legendary day tomorrow.

Some ok leftovers today. Soft bumps over pure ice that'll take you by surprise sometimes but overall good stuff. Never seen so few people on a mountain. I'd be surprised if there were more than 75 total people there today. Really debating heading back out tomorrow if there will actually be 6 new inches

woulda been right there with you Buttah
If red line didn't get opened the mtns not ready (personal barometer take with grain of salt or not)
It's an indicator of coverage, not the need to ski redline
and I don't want any of this fkn huggn shit

BigD I came here to respond last night and fell asleep..
Speaking of Super Bro 195's, I'm replacing one of my all time favorite skis (not the Bros) with another of the same pair...

It's time to admit the Bros ain't going to see any more action on these legs.

BigD the time has come... what you wanna do with em ?

Heh. You weren't around last weekend when I broke out the wizard 'sploders for their yearly appearance. While the superbro is an amazingly good all around ski for magic, they can be a bit of work in the tighter trees. I was thinking that the 192 bro's would be great for tomorrow. Gonna bring along some Lhasa's in case we get anymore snow. But yes, I'll definitely have the superbro's in the car - just in case

They're your skis, bro. (See what I did there?) You won them fair and square (amazingly true, no deflategating involved). I doubt I would be skiing them either, unless I lived in Big Sky or some huge mt.

I heard JGB skis on something like those? You guys can arm wrestle or work out a deal... They are worth at least a case or two of Lawsons?

Blasphemy, my friend! If they're going to end up sitting around Iet's work something out.

I like how you think, BD

Just call the deal, EW. Lawsons now ships beer to 2 locations in CT (Middletown & W. Hartford). Lemme make you an offer you can't refuse

Beer is the universal language/currency... and if I remember right, you certainly paid it forward with multiple cases of Heady at the fest. I'd like to at least drink a can or two together for a commission, tho.

They did throw a rope up toward the end of the day Wednesday. They are trying to preserve it a bit for the junior comp on saturday. I get that it's our "signature" trail and people are probably going to be annoyed that it's roped and there may be some poaching but... give these kids some credit/respect and let them be the ones to schralp the hell out of it this weekend. Black line was the alternate venue but we already have two comps on black in Feb and also running the kids under red is awesome exposure for them and really fun spectating for everyone at the hill. I hope everyone will cheer on the little mini-mags-to-be come Saturday!

Trying to make Buttah feel better (being the butt of my word play and him fucking up massively) and had to back it up with something.
My magic rule of thumb still stands... :-)

You're the man, EW, but I think they should probably go to Aldo instead. While I would love to add them to my collection, it's such an awesome ski that I'd rather someone else get to enjoy them and see why I go on about their greatness.

Take 'em dude. I'll get the beer if needed since I don't think they sell Lawson's in your neck of the woods. I'm backed up with another pair that are in really good shape that I picked up from a mag who couldn't handle them a couple of seasons ago, and have another pair still in plastic up in the rafters of my garage.

Just put 'em on edge and let 'em run. Thru anything. At any speed (as long as it's really fast) but you have to really ski them, or they will ski you. Practice holding in your amusement when people use phrases like 'death cookies' and 'boilerplate' as you will no longer understand what they are talking about. Enjoy!
