Props to the crew that sledded a half barrel of Racer 5 up to the Bradley Hut. Stronger men than I. Should've taken a pic for posterity...

i guess that would be when you go to sleep knowing the next day is gonna be awesome and it is. like today, a small taste.

what are the odds off piste will be not boilerplate a Kirkwood on sunday?

Looking at the forecast, im assuming skiing off the groomers will be character building? Im not looking for anything fresh, just something that my edges will sink into without me having a racetune and perfect carving form.

Yeah that's exactly what my friend told me....never been. Is bachelor really that flat? I haven't had a storm day in a while.

I had some fun in the Funitel on Tuesday. Shot this silliness with Nik and Liam, two of my favorite students. Tamara McKinney happened to get in the cabin with us and gamely donned the blonde wig. I have no idea who her friend Bogner Boy is, but he adds GNAR points for sure.

Here's a short video that we put together for the SheJumps Tailgate Alaska contest - was trying to make the best of the not so ideal tahoe conditions - sometimes we were pleasantly surprised though!

Luckily I'm off to Alaska tomorrow so I hope that brings the Sierra some snow!

Nacho continues to solidify his rep as the gnar BC doggy on TGR. I love that guy and the zany photos powdork posts up of him. Purina should spanzer him.
Never in U.S. history has the public chosen leadership this malevolent. The moral clarity of their decision is crystalline, particularly knowing how Trump will regard his slim margin as a “mandate” to do his worst. We’ve learned something about America that we didn’t know, or perhaps didn’t believe, and it’ll forever color our individual judgments of who and what we are.

You guys better save some for the weekend warrior/misery types like me. Looks excellent! Anyone been out around Donner lately? Curious how the new snow is holding up.

On Wednesday at Sugar Bowl, stuff with lot's of sun expose was getting kinda wet and heavy towards the end of the day. Trees and north facing still good. The snow from that storm was very light, not typical February paste. Even the chopped up stuff was still fun on ancient skinny skis ( Karhu Guides ).

I saw these nice turns coming down off the ridge -

The pow was still pow-like in places sheltered from wind. Didn't hit any suncrust. The exit run skied pretty well up high but getting tracked.

i've always liked this line, and this is my fourth time doing it since i've had a helmet cam, but first time ever capturing it for various reasons.
