Speaking of golf courses, I bet Fossil Trace (Golden) has some fucking gnarly lines right now.

Berthoud was actually really good today. Backflips, cliffhucks and fast smooth boottop pow.

Apparently it is snowing in Aspen and nowhere else in the area. Hope it keeps up for a little while.

The deepest + lightest snow I've ever skied at Eldora, and the snow quality and depth was similar to April 6th (?) day at Vail two years ago with an 18" report over night. I was choking on the way down.

The runs got tracked fast, but plenty was left in the trees through early afternoon. Still snowing at 1/2 inch per hour (or more) at times. Saturday AM should also be amazing. However, be careful as there are still a ton of rocks and trees that lurk just below the surface. I was lucky twice when I hit stuff but bounced off. Just re-posted a video from Eldora on https://www.facebook.com/findopensnow. It's short, but shows the video proof of blower pow. This was a legitimately amazing day.

Eldora deserved a killer day today, especially considering that we've got over 50 inches in the past 3 weeks and have been hogging all the pow out west.

wish I could've made it to eldora, but breck ski'd well today, lake chutes has some good soft hucks as well as peak 7 bowl. saw lots of people ducking ropes into imperial bowl right under the lift and it looked good to go in sections so I bet it'll open soon.

Sounds tempting.... but that's going to ruin some skis when it opens.

Its funny how a low tide year can make for some sweet hits, eh? We were getting 20'ers out of stuff we were struggling to get 5' out of last spring. Would love to check that shit out. Maybe Sunday.

Trelease tomorrow. Been teeing up something out there for a while now.

So if you were in Edwards with a full tank where would you drive very early saturday morning for the goods?
I don't know any of the resorts on the east side of the pass...

...and so where to ski? You know my buddy the Bumpcat?

I got the gear packed, heading east at 5 a.m. and gonna go get in line at some resort I have never seen and need mapquest to find... What time do the punters start lining up at Eldora? Lifts casually open at 9. Black on black, 6'3", Wailer 112's, ask for change, I got...

That was a pic from the last storm, or even last year. Not from today though. Bleachers were never covered per the web cam view. NOW tomorrow...

Never been to Eldora personally, but it's gonna be the place to be tomorrow. The local slope is Echo Mountain, but it's pretty much just a park setup. Only 600 vertical feet and $50 for a lift ticket? No thanks.

Unfortunately, I can't ride tomorrow. I'm helping out at the Evergreen Winter Festival. I don't ride a bit of park, but I may enter the amateur rail jam just to make an ass of myself.

Hilarious. It was skied off yesterday quicker than I've ever seen it and that was with the the road being closed. That place will be a shit show with every pow hungry front ranger and every gaper in the area since it's the only place with any new.

There were stashes in the trees but they were a bit sketch and certainly not in the condition you'd want to open them up.

That said yesterday was amazing and today will be good as well. I'm going for a walk in RMNP to see how much is up there and to avoid the crowds.

I just got back from being turned around by state patrol in Ned because eldora was "full." It has to be the most epic shit show ever, hopefully some folks from here can report.
