The "Campatition" was a awesome success.

The "Snow star" shined bright and brought fresh turns.

Gripen's "Don't stop" and "Find the line" motivation and guidance was Very well received and appreciated.

Big props for Brenna's ability to pick up the pieces with a smile was a huge bonus for those of us that, well lets just say, "Pushed it".

One more time, thanks to Time2climb for getting the idea together and making it possible.

I believe all of us got something out of this camp. I myself got a whole bunch and am very grateful for all people involved and everything everyone brought to the experience. I hope to get to know those new mags, I met at the camp, more over time, as they all seemed to be great people and great skiers!

One of the best parts of the camp was to be "those guys" on the mountain killing lines with flash and flair. I am very excited for the second annual, you can count me in for sure.

Oh and Sentinal, keep little J safe for me, Im sure he will be mine next time
    Man, It was great...

    Not supper deep
Yup....for it to qualify as supper deep it has to be getting in your mouth / choking on it.

Anyone from Banff want to report in? Looks like it is dumping on the SSV cam.
As an aside, I also thought I saw a bunch of firemen standing in front of trappers on the cam.

18cms since noon today and it's showing no sign of letting up! Tomorrow is going to be rad!
Flying the Bluehouse colors in Western Canada! Let me know if you want some rad skis!!

"He is god of snow; the one called Ullr. Son of Sif, step son of Thor. He is so fierce a bowman and ski-runner that none may contend! He is quite beautiful to look upon and has all the characteristics of a warrior. It is wise to invoke the name of Ullr in duels!"

Definitely need to echo everything that has already been said about the camp!

Big thanks to T2C and Gripen for making this happen and to Backscratcher for setting up the house.

Gripen and Brenna can rip and are both super nice people to boot. I think they inspired commitment and confidence in all of us.

It really sucked to miss day two, and to top it off I'm still fighting the SARS/H1N1/Bird flu/ebola/plague or whatever the hell it is I caught right before the camp. Day one was a blast though and despite feeling like crap, stands out as one of the best days skiing I have had in a long time. Bummed to have missed Sentinels prize winning huck, and especially Backscratchers prize winning beater on day two.

I also have got to say how great it was to meet all of you, and to thank you for being so welcoming to the "new guy"! I look forward to getting out and making some turns with you guys again while not doped up on cold medicine.

Already looking forward to doing this again next year, and Sentinel, enjoy little J while you can, I'll be practicing

Holy shit, it was snowing all day down here, didn't realize it was going that hard up at the hill

And ditto, tomorrow is going to rock. Thursday should be even better with the accumulation. Then Friday should be good as they start to open remote stuff.

18cm in LL....game on! The wind just picked up like crazy in town also. KH was forecasting over 100kph wind. Might just take the 1a to avoid the retards.

Came home after the camp the other day and showed Shelly the Trophy (Lil J.). She put together a quick comparison between my younger years and now.

Damn it, I was planning on hitting KH today, but...apparently buying a house requires a considerable amount of time and phone calls. Oh well, next time

Just remember, if you're gonna huck more cliffs, don't land on your head. One concussion a season is enough!

In my defense, I did land on my feet, but double ejected THEN landed on my head.

That is amazing... your bow tie even seem to match Lil J's scarf!
