Thanks to everyone who participated in the CAMPetition... I had a freakin' blast skiing such a group of great skiers and great people.

We went fast, we hucked our shit, and we had a blast!

    Can't wait for next year.
Goal: ski in the 2018/19 season

    Well...technically it's a video frame so no.

Huge thanks to Gripen for making this happen, and to Brenna. Lots of fun was had.

^^^ If I'm not mistaken that's just skiers left of punter in Superbowl. If so, that's one of my favourite Superbowl hits!

Both Brenna and I had such a blast with you guys, thanks so much! Let's see some pics/vids!
Flying the Bluehouse colors in Western Canada! Let me know if you want some rad skis!!

This one was classic. You can actually see Back Scratcher fold in half when T2C sets it in slow mow. But man he threw down the entire weekend.

Thanks again to Brenna and Gripen. Good times, looking forward to next year. And thanks for the air traffic control, it was much appreciated.

Time to pull the 'chute and head to Castle - hopefully it was a bit colder today over there.
Thanks for the report. Good to know the truth to beat down them carrying on the hype from earlier in the week.
    Hope Castle was good.

Looking forward to some pics of the campetition. Still jealous I couldn't make it. On the plus side, SSV was decent on sat. Vis was crap, so we ran laps on standish and wawa.

On the downside, I was reminded that my body doesnt recover as well as it used to after eating shit: mislanded huck + double ejection + tomahawk downhill = slight whiplash and a mild concussion At least there was an audience so someone (other than TurnipKing) had a chuckle....

Just wanted to say thanks to Gripen and Brenna for doing a great job. Everyone had a lot of fun and you pushed all of us out of our comfort zone to some degree. I know the whole crew walked away with a better knowledge base for Big Mountain Skiing.

A lot of good times were had by all. To everyone involved "Thx" it was a blast. T2C, great job getting this whole thing started in the first place.

Not sure if I want to see the final edit lol, I looked like a big bird that had its wings clipped. Then I ate shit.

Actually, Sunday was a pretty good day. It was a lot less busy (I guess everyone was defeated from Saturday), and since it was clear, the avalache crews were able to get everything opened. Granted it wasn't epic blower, but still pretty nice.

Wow, what a really fun two days at the camp. No doubt the best group of skiers and coaches that I have ever gotten to ski with. Good to finally meet more Canadian Rockies' maggots. Some of you are shorter in real life than you appear on the internet. And what a collection of kick ass skis all in one place. Probably like 10 grand worth of boutique skis in the group.

Gripen and Brenna did a great job, and I hope this event will be a springboard for them to offer this kind of camp to more skiers, and also impress the hell out of the new owners of the hill. I know I would highly recommend it to any maggot.

Not many photos were taken, as I know I was way too busy trying to keep up.

Not nearly as much video as I would have liked, tough to pull the cam out every time but got some stuff and a bit more on helmet cam. It's going to be a while before any gets edited though, just finished Dec. and 1 more to do first. Managed to get some good wipe outs. Expect it to be a few weeks.

Snowing at Lake Louise today with some pretty decent wind moving snow in to the back side. Tommorrow could potentially be nice.

Yep. The Ferndog was good on Sunday. Saturday was okay up top, but absolute balls below Whitepass; stayed up high all day.

I gotta chime in here too regarding the campetition and say what an awesome weekend it was! Watching everyone push themselves got me totally stoked...So stoked I even bumped chests with Back Scratcher and he thought I broke his sternum. It turned out to be a bunch of blueberry cookies in his pocket. Anywhoo, thanks to everyone for a great weekend and a major thanks to Gripen and Brenna...Until next year fella's...Lil J. is safe and sound with its rightful owner.

Keep an eye on the Lake Louise numbers for tommorrow...was snowing at a pretty good rate this afternoon. Conditions today were not ideal, some soft snow in a few stashes but traded for 0 vis.

Not quite sure about tommorrow yet. Will either be KH or LL. If LL then it's always a good time meeting more mags.
