Looks like the lady and meself are gonna be out a Marmot on Saturday (and hittin' the scotch and hops apres ski). Most like be out in Eagles, hoping that there will be enough of the soft stuff to justify skiing the protests...

Ugly bright green jacket with matching lid on telegear, the lady will be sporting a navy jacket and a pink lid on a pair of bro's...
I don't work and I don't save, desperate women pay my way.

    ^^^ Hey Moosepit^^^
I'm up on Sat helping with a freestyle mini event. I'm skiing in the am though so I will look for you... Blue coat, red pants white lid and some sort of Line skis.
Tele hey... oh well at least your wife will be able to keep up

If you want to do some laps after 2:15 come find me at the bottom of the mogul course which is visable from the base right above the terrain park.

I will be doing some prior so I will look for you two.
I'm also attending the hop scotch party. It would be cool to put a face to the screen name so I will act like a complete ass by chugging scotch and asking all the women for change...

    Where ya staying?

I'm in Banff this weekend with the misses and hitting the lake both days. It sounds like she is pretty wiped from several long shifts this week and is going to sleep in and relax on saturday, so I'll likely be flying solo that day. If anyone wants to meet up for some turns, let me know

-19 + winds on hilll = cold day and not much traffic.

Haha, I was just about to post how it was but I can't add much to that. The rock-fest that is the FB traverse is well worth the trade off for the snow in Hayes if anyone is heading up. Bre-X was probably as nice as it will be all year given how the side-slippers always trash it - one of the patrollers made me chuckle when he said it was good to go but pleaded with us to ski it and not slip it so it stays in good nick for at least a day or two.

All in all it has been a very good few days with the opening of the upper mountain after wind closures, then getting into the Wild West just as it opened yesterday and then DD today.

I am a skier from Calgary, just healed up from a shoulder surgery, and now I am looking to ski the rest of the season. Unfortunately all my Calgary buddies have decided to leave the snow for the office and a reliable paycheck (Monday to Friday at least). I am planning on spending all of next week touring (location unknown, but somewhere in the Rockies), and was wondering if anyone was planning any tours I could jump in on? I can bring stoke, fun, and perhaps even a case of beers to the table.....
I am available to ski daily. I typically like hunting down pow turns as opposed to just walking from a to b and try not to "plan" anything in advance but drop me a pm at any given time if you want to head out. If the forecast holds true then will probably be putting in a bunch of K-horse days next week.

I'm flying in tonight...Calgary...staying at LL where we'll ski Sat and poss Sun, then KH/Golden Sun thru Tue at least.

    So stoked.

If any mags want to show a PNW and Chicago mag around it would be great. Not expecting an early start with the late arrival - wearing blue jacket, blanks pants and distinguishable orange leather gloves, blue bern brain bucket. Couple buddies in tow, maybe and my brother who can rip and lives in SLC.

In Denver now...KH is getting slammed - smiles!

I maybe at the Lake with Mrs. Mex on Sunday. We'll see if she feels like getting up and what the temps are like. If I'm out I keep my eyes peeled for some of you guys.

    KH actually isn't getting slammed.

Just checking the forecast and looks like you guys should just pull up stake and head to Revy.
They should have 20+ by Sunday.

Trying to decide; KH Sunday for more forecast snow, or KH Tuesday with less crowds?

    (can't do both)

I'll be there with the lady, but I'm certain I'll be ditching her Sunday AM if the forecasted snow amounts show up. But I'll probably re-connect with her (and another non-charging non-mag) in the afternoon.

Send me a text if you're going to be there, but I think you should plan to be early to get a good spot in line.

FINALLY some time off coming up. Any recommendations for nice on hill accomm at KH for me and the girl? Might even go baller and splurge on the "romantic getaway" type. Was hoping to time it for midweek next week but unfortunately it'll be Fri/Sat nights. Skiing Fri-Mon so give me a shout to hook up.

And if anyone knows of anybody selling a KH card, let me know.

Looks like I'll be hooking up with Huckin Eh? and possibly T2C (not sure what your plans are for Sunday) for the morning on Sunday (before they'll take of the slackcountry), so it could be a good group of rippers.

The Lake sucked today and any reports of more terrain being opened are greatly exaggerated. I recommend not going there.

I'll be at there again on sunday. This week has been off the hook! With high avalanche danger rating projected sunday, I'm not gonna bother with anything outside the ropes.

I'll be on the just a little bit slower programme. Gotta keep it low stress and non racing others for lines for my wife. Probably won't head out if it's as good as they say it's going to be inbounds.

There are almost always safe options to have fun on, you just have to be smart about it.
