LOL - she is more wary of the neigbourhood kids than they of her ATM, but yes, she is getting a lot of supervised socialization. I have always kept an eye on our 90lb Maly/Bernese for the same reason - trained to harass a bothersome moose or black bear right out of the country, but a gentle giant around kids; however, even a wag of his tail can knock a small kid down.

So far her killing abilities have been limited to my old slippers and any throw rug/mat with a loose thread. It sure will be nice once her baby teeth are replaced with the adult ones. A trooper in the field already!

I hope that posting yet another picture of Jack will inspire others to post some new pics of their dogguses.

    50 lbs @ 5 mos - he's gonna be a big boy!

My friend has a shepard that was really skinny up until she turned 2 then she suddenly blew up like a body builder. Jack used to be able to own her, now she outweighs him by like 30 lbs and kicks his ass.

Driggs on his first canyon trip at eight months back in April. He's part hound, mostly lab. Can climb rocks like a goat; hopefully he doesn't figure that out at home and hop the fence.

He thinks Hermosa Creek is tasty.
